Along the way, your guide shares insights into the park's history and geology as you take in the distinctive sights, sounds, and even smells of this otherworldly setting. Later, visit Fountain Paint Pot, where bubbling mud pots, colorful hot springs, geysers, and steaming fumaroles reveal Yellowstone's hydrothermal activity up close. The remainder of the day is yours to experience Yellowstone as you wish. Visit the Old Faithful Visitor Center, rent a bicycle, hike to Observation Point for a bird's-eye view of an Old Faithful eruption, or simply relax with a cold drink on the second-floor deck of the Old Faithful Inn.
