Inspired by Kabul’s Peacock Palace and named after Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, the Prince’s Lodge is uniquely crafted to carefully embody both Islamic design and Mayfair style, setting ornate carving amid minimalist architecture. Guests in this suite will come home to a long-ago traveler’s collection of treasures – hand-carved furniture from Kabul, maps and photographs dating back to 1870, stained glass windows, sculptures by stone carver Adam Williamson and stunning paintings. Our contemporary Carlos Suites overlook Adams Row and have a noticeably more contemporary feel, with ceruse walnut finishes, walnut parquet flooring, innovative use of mirrors, soft lighting, bespoke furniture, marble-lined spa bathrooms, free-standing baths, spacious double walk-in showers and TOTO toilets.

Both suites include a grand 30-feet long, high-ceiling drawing room and are decorated with astonishing artwork. The Piano Sutherland Suite is perfect for musicians and composers. Soundproofed, it contains a concert-quality 1909 Steinway grand piano. The Dining Sutherland Suite is perfect for families or those who wish to entertain privately, offering an oval dining table that seats up to 8 in the drawing room.

The Library Suite comprises of a master bedroom and second bedroom, each with an en-suite bathroom, a guest cloakroom and library-style sitting room. The split-level Library Suite was designed by the architect Michael Blair.
