Day 1: Welcome to Shanghai

Day 2: Privately guided full-day sightseeing

Your private car, driver and guide await this morning to show you Shanghai. Begin your day with a drive along the historic Bund; the city's handsome waterfront boulevard is graced by elegant turn-of-the-century architecture, a legacy of Japanese and European trading companies. Then stroll in the tranquil Yu Yuan Garden, built in the 16th century by a Ming Dynasty court official. See the historic French Concession and then tour the highly respected Shanghai Museum East, home to an expansive collection encompassing several thousand years of Chinese arts and culture including ancient bronzes, celadon pottery, precious jade, Buddhist sculptures and exquisite Ming Dynasty furniture.
