Day 2 Ljubljana, Slovenia

Arrive in Ljubljana, the capital city and cultural heart of Slovenia. As arrival times vary, there is no included sightseeing today. Spend the day as you wish, exploring the city independently. Tonight, gather with your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner in this fairy-tale city.(D)

Day 3 Ljubljana - Lake Bled - Ljubljana

This morning, a local expert introduces you to beautiful Ljubljana, set along the Ljubljanica River and known for its green spaces, picturesque bridges, sidewalk cafés, and a lively central market. See Prešeren Square, City Hall, Ljubljana University, and the city’s renowned bridges, including the famous Dragon Bridge, a proud symbol of the city. After free time for lunch, travel to Lake Bled, nestled in the Julian Alps. Reach Bled Island by a traditional wooden boat and spend an afternoon in one of the most picturesque places in Slovenia. Perhaps you’ll try the legendary Bled cream cake before returning to Ljubljana.(B)

Day 4 Ljubljana - Paha - Opatija, Croatia

Day 9 Split - Dubrovnik

This morning, it’s your choice! Take a harbor cruise for magnificent views of Dubrovnik’s medieval city walls and visit Lokrum Island -OR- get a bird’s eye view of the city by cable car, riding up to Srd Hill, a breathtaking vantage point to look over the Old Town below and the Adriatic Sea. Your Choice on Tour will conclude by 1:00 p.m. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, relaxing or independently exploring the marble streets and beautiful baroque buildings of Dubrovnik’s breathtaking Old Town.
