Itinerary

1 Arrive Oslo, Norway

Perhaps drawing inspiration from its apricot sunsets, or the painterly, island-strewn fjord on which it sits, the Norwegian capital has a creative bent, epitomized in the new National Museum, replete with art and design objects, while Munchmuseet stands as a temple to the prolific artist who gave the world The Scream. Art is not Oslo’s only specialty, however: Scandi-chic coffee shops and boutiques line the streets of Grunerlokka, while floating saunas bob among the fishing boats in the harbor.

Meals:

2 Oslo – Landmarks And Local Flavors
Explore Oslo’s top sights on foot — from the Royal Palace and Karl Johans Gate to the historic Akershus Fortress and iconic Opera House rooftop. Along the way, sample traditional Norwegian dishes, local cheeses, cured meats, seafood and artisanal chocolates.

Meals:

3 Tromso – Colorful Waterfront Enclave
Fly to Tromso to see the brightly colored houses that crowd the city’s waterfront — a cheerful contrast to the rugged mountains and deep fjords that cradle the city. Dominating the skyline, the modern Arctic Cathedral is a beacon of light against long polar nights. More than a city of striking architecture, Tromso offers nature’s spectacle — the aurora borealis, a winter highlight.

Meals:

4 Tromso – Exploring By Reindeer Sleigh
Exploring Tromso alongside a local guide, see the Arctic Cathedral and Polar Museum, and ascend Fjellheisen by cable car for breathtaking panoramic views. As evening falls, a magical reindeer sleigh ride awaits. After feeding the friendly animals and warming up with hot drinks around a crackling fire in a traditional gamme (Sami hut), enjoy a meal of cold-smoked salmon, reindeer stew and blueberry pie, accompanied by stories of reindeer herding and traditional folk songs. If you’re lucky, the northern lights might even make an appearance.

Meals:

5 Senja – Dog-Sledding Adventure
The Arctic landscape comes alive with the thrill of dog sledding through pristine wilderness. A shared sled ride through stunning vistas — and time spent with 200 Alaskan Huskies and their puppies — lends insight into dog sled racing and animal welfare. A gamme then welcomes you with warmth and hospitality, including a traditional Sami meal, hot drinks and chocolate cake before you make your way to Senja.

Meals:

6 Senja – Opportunities For Discovery
Senja offers a breathtaking panorama of majestic mountains, pristine beaches and shimmering turquoise waters. Summer’s warmth invites exploration through hiking, fishing, and cycling, while winter transforms the landscape into a wonderland for skiing, snowshoeing and archipelago boat trips. A variety of memorable experiences are yours for the choosing: an evening snowshoe trek under the Arctic sky, with the chance to witness the northern lights; a wildlife and fjord safari by boat to explore the scenic archipelago near Hamn; an Arctic dip in flotation suits followed by a warming sauna; and a curated tasting of six local Senja brews paired with snacks, revealing the region’s rich flavors.

Meals:

7 Bergen – Mountaintop Views Over The Fjords
A flight to Tromso brings you to Bergen, a city sculpted by fjords and steeped in Viking and maritime history. On a panoramic tour, ascend the mountainside by traditional carriage for breathtaking views of Bergen, its fjord and the surrounding mountains. A stroll through the charming city completes the day. Later, a five-course dinner and boat trip make for a magical evening.
