Then take a short drive to the renowned Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, where you'll watch a short introductory film about the centre's conservation work before heading to the platform to observe rehabilitated orangutans up close. You'll also have time to watch the playful young orangutans in the nursery. Continue to the nearby Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about the protection of the world's smallest bear.

After lunch, board a shared boat for a scenic 2.5 hour journey along the river to Sukau Rainforest Lodge, located directly on the banks of the Kinabatangan River in the heart of Borneo's wildlife-rich rainforest.
