Day 2 - Discover Historic Prague
Delve into centuries of history, joining your Local Specialist for a guided walk past the city's iconic sights. Then, admire the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Square, with its hourly Walk of the Apostles. Join a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience - an educational lecture with a local bee expert. Day 3 - Prague Your Way
Today is yours to explore the legends, castles and palaces of Prague. Follow the 'Royal Route', discover historic treasures and admire picturesque views of the city from Petrín Hill, or join an Optional Experience to Kutná Hora, with its bone-bedecked chapel and five-nave St. Barbara Church. Spend your evening at leisure, enjoying some of the local beer for which the country is famous, or join a traditional dinner to bid farewell to this beautiful city with newly acquired friends.

Day 4 - Journey to Slovak Bratislava and on to Vienna Make Travel Matter
Travel south from Prague through lush Moravian landscapes to Bratislava, passing its quaint Old Town, before continuing your journey to Vienna – our home for the next three nights. Admire the city's musical talents and consider attending a Viennese concert.

Day 5 - Explore Vibrant Vienna Dive Into Culture
The heritage of one of Europe's most influential royal families is explored this morning as we Dive Into Culture during a Small Group Sightseeing guided visit to the spectacular Kunsthistorisches Museum. Admire the valuable objects collected by the emperors and archdukes of Habsburg over the centuries before the doors are open to the general public. Later, we join an included sightseeing tour with a Local Specialist to view the Hofburg Palace, the official residence of the President of Austria and former home of the Habsburg Dynasty. We'll see such sights as the Parliament Building, the magnificent Opera House and St. Stephen's Cathedral with its geometrically tiled roof. Spend the afternoon on your own, indulging in the city's kaffee culture with a slice or two of Sachertorte.

Day 6 - Vienna Your Way
Today is yours to explore the 'City of Music' on your terms. Tread in the footsteps of the great sons of Vienna – Mozart, Haydn and Strauss – as you delve into the city's rich musical heritage nurtured by aristocrats throughout the centuries. Consider a visit to the beautiful Baroque Schönbrunn Palace to see the former imperial summer residence.

Day 7 - Onwards to Budapest
Journey along the Danube Bend, a narrow twisting valley in the pretty Carpathian Basin, stopping in Esztergom to view its Castle Hill, domed Cathedral, and St. Thomas Hill. We follow the scenic landscape to the romantic city of Budapest where we will spend the next three nights. Enjoy a free evening sipping Hungarian wines or consider cruising along the Danube.

Day 8 - See the Sights of Budapest Connect with Locals
Join a Local Specialist this morning for a walking tour. Visit the Fisherman's Bastion, view the Matthias Church and drive to Pest to see the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe. We pay tribute to the seven chieftains of the Magyars in Heroes' Square. Tonight's Be My Guest experience will see us Connect With Locals over dinner with the Schieszl family and hear the story of their winery.

Day 9 - Budapest Your Way
Venture up Gellert Hill for spectacular views of the Budapest skyline, relax in the Szechenyi Baths or consider an Optional Experience to Szentendre, a riverside village popular with artists and craftworkers. On our last evening together, we toast to a magnificent journey to the imperial capitals of Europe and enjoy a Farewell Dinner in a local restaurant.

Budapest
Caught between eastern and western Europe, Budapest has a character uniquely its own. It's also the last cheap, civilised city in Europe. Budapest can seem like one big sight, with each phase in its history, from the Ottoman period until the Communist days and from renaissance to revolution, leaving its mark on the city. For the tourist, a trip to Hungary's capital is dominated by the majestic sights of Buda. In the summer, there are open-air festivals at Szeged, Diosgyor Castle in Miskolc, Gyor and Pecs. Visit the former Royal Palace complex, the Matyas templom and the Belvaros. Margaret Island is a giant recreational park and feels pleasantly separated from the city bustle. Hungarian National Gallery houses Hungarian art since the birth of the nation. Although Esztergom is Hungary's most sacred city, home of the Archbishop and the nation's biggest church, it has a real-life edge. The first-time visitor to Szeged is invariably struck by its space and grandeur. One's immediate impressions of Hungary's third largest provincial city are of greenery and plazas, of broad.

Vienna
Vienna is dominated by imperial castles and places: Schonbrunn, the magnificent summer residence, the Imperial Coach Collection, the Palm House, the Butterfly House, Belvedere Palace, magnificent state rooms in Hofburg, and the imperial crown in the Treasury. Stop by Ringstraße - the showplace of the monarchy built where Emperor Franz Joseph ordered the demolition of city walls. Important buildings include the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Arts and Natural History, Parliament, City Hall and Vienna University. The world capital of music. A long line of great composers Johann Strauss, Haydn and Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert, Mahler and Schonberg all worked here. A city with splendid concert halls, such as the Golden Hall, from which the Philharmonic's New Year's Day concert is broadcast annually. Prague
Amid Prague's cobblestone streets and gold-tip spires, galleries, cafes, and clubs teem with young Czechs and "expatriates." New shops and restaurants have opened, expanding the city's culinary reach beyond the traditional roast pork and dumplings. The arts and theater also thrive in Prague. Young playwrights regularly stage their works, weekly poetry readings are standing room only, and classical music maintains famous standards, while the clubs are jammed. The arts - nonverbal theater, "installation" art, world music - are as trendy in Prague as in any European capital but possess distinctive Czech flavor. All of this is set against a stunning backdrop of towering churches and centuries-old bridges and alleyways. Prague achieved much of its glory in the 14th century, during the long reign of Charles IV, king of Bohemia and Moravia and Holy Roman Emperor. Charles established a university in the city and laid out the New Town, charting Prague's growth. Prague Castle is the most popular sight and is the largest ancient castle in the world with three courtyards.
