Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Madeira

This morning your private driver will escort you to the Lisbon Airport where you will board a 2 hour flight to Madeira. Upon arrival on the island of Madeira, you’ll be warmly greeted and chauffeured to your deluxe hotel, ideally located in the heart of Funchal just a short, scenic walk from Old Town. The rest of this day is yours to explore or relax as you wish.

Day 2: Personalize Your Exploration

With ruggedly beautiful coastal landscapes and a lush mountainous interior, Madeira is renowned as one of the most beautiful islands in the Atlantic. Whether you prefer exploring by land or sea, you can tailor this day to your own personal interests, style and taste for adventure. Private Half-Day Tour – Sunrise Above the Clouds + Walking Tour: At an elevation close to 6,000 feet, Pico do Arieiro is the third highest peak on Madeira Island. With its summit often sitting above the surrounding, low-lying clouds, this lofty spot offers the chance for a truly magnificent, once-in-a-lifetime sunrise! Conditions permitting, you’ll arrive in the cool early morning hours to witness this spectacle, followed by a fresh breakfast prepared al fresco by your guide. Private Half-Day Sailing Tour: Abundant with natural beauty, Madeira’s southern coastline features secluded beaches, rocky headlands and verdant slopes. Day 3: A Free Day on Madeira Island

With its city-central location in the lively city of Funchal, our deluxe hotel is ideal for exploring at your own pace. Setting sail from Funchal, you’ll cruise along the island’s gorgeous southern coast, with its picturesque beaches and rocky promontories. Whales and dolphins swim in these waters year-round and conditions permitting, you can even take a dip in the ocean. Light snacks and a welcome drink are included. Tour Duration: 2.5 Hours

Private Half-Day Yacht Trip: Ponta de São Lourenço is a narrow peninsula that extends more than 5 miles off the eastern tip of Madeira Island. With hidden bays and secluded beaches inaccessible by road, it’s the perfect destination for this privately-chartered yacht adventure. Discover spectacular cliffs and wondrous rock formations carved by sea and wind. Conditions permitting, you can enjoy some snorkelling off the coast of the peninsula. Tour Duration: 4 Hours
