Day 1 Stockholm, Sweden
Arrive Stockholm

Tour begins: 4:00 PM, Sheraton Stockholm Hotel. A transfer is included from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Sheraton Stockholm Hotel. Join us for an exclusive visit to the Vasa Museum to view the Vasa, the Baltic Sea's mightiest warship, adorned with hundreds of sculptures. This evening, join us for dinner back at your hotel.

Day 2 Stockholm, Sweden
A City Built on Islands

With a local guide, explore Stockholm's City Hall, where the Nobel Prize award festivities take place. See the Council Chamber; the Gold Room, whose walls sparkle with 18 million pieces of gold mosaic and glass; and the Blue Room, misnamed because the architect changed his mind as work progressed and left its red-brick walls intact. On a drive among Stockholm's islands, see views of the Baltic, Lake Mälaren, the Strandvägen, the inner harbor, the palace, and the cathedral. The rest of the day is free.

Stockholm to Vaxjo

Home to the Museum of National History since 1878, the palace tells the story of Denmark through centuries of regal portraits, ornate furnishings, and grand ceremonial rooms. After a traditional Danish lunch at a local inn, return to Copenhagen for an afternoon at leisure. Fly to Oslo

Transfer to the airport this morning for your flight to Oslo, Norway's elegant waterfront capital. Upon arrival, enjoy an introductory sightseeing tour showcasing the city's blend of Nordic tradition and contemporary design, including a visit to Vigeland Sculpture Park, home to Gustav Vigeland's striking collection of bronze and granite sculptures.
