Day 1: Welcome to Chengdu

Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be warmly greeted and escorted by private car to the luxurious Shangri-La. The balance of this day is then yours to enjoy as you wish.

Day 2: Discover Chengdu… And Encounter a Panda

After breakfast this morning, your private car, driver and guide will be waiting to take you on an unforgettable visit to the highly-regarded Panda Breeding & Research Station where our exclusive behind-the-scenes visit promises an up-close encounter with these amazing creatures. By special arrangement, you'll even spend time with the caretakers and feed a Panda - a rare treat available to few visitors! Continue your guided exploration at the historic Wenshu Monastery. Originally built more than 1,000 years ago during the Tang Dynasty, this impressive landmark is the city's best-preserved Buddhist temple. Then refresh with a cup of traditional Chinese tea in a local park, a great opportunity to experience the daily life of Chengdu's residents.
