Day 2: Full Day South Coast Wonders Tour
Visit the amazing South Shore of Iceland crossing fertile farmlands with striking views over waterfalls, glaciers and beautiful nature. It's a great way to spend a day in Iceland.
The South Shore Adventure tour is ideal for nature lovers of all kinds. Travel along the south coast of Iceland, one of the country's most scenic regions, as far as Vik, a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs.
Among the stops on this tour are the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. What makes Seljalandsfoss so famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. We recommend you bring either a raincoat or a waterproof coat along if you want to stroll behind it which we of course highly recommend. Skogafoss, another famous Icelandic waterfall is something of a film star, having been used as a backdrop in films such as Thor: The Dark World, Game of Thrones, Eurovision Song Contest: the Story of Fire Saga, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
You will also stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt. It is one of the most spectacular beaches in Iceland.
Additionally, your tour will stop by Solheimajokull glacier for a guided walk up to a small lake that has formed in front of the retreating glacier.
Day 3: Full Day Snorkeling Silfra Day Tour
Silfra Snorkeling in Iceland is an adventure you will find unusual and for sure an experience never to forget. Float over lava, swim between large volcanic canyons and discover the crystal-clear glacier waters that flow between the North American and Eurasian continents. Whether you are an experienced snorkeler or a beginner this dive is an absolutely mesmerizing experience.
Enjoy an amazing snorkeling experience in Silfra canyon as you drift peacefully in the comfort of a warm dry suit and accompanied by our highly skilled guides. Silfra, frequently rated as one of the world's top ten dive sites, is located between the tectonic plates of Europe and America so you will be snorkeling in between them. Silfra is the only place in the world where this can be done. Our experienced and well-qualified specialist diving guides will ensure you are provided with all of the proper equipment and information you need.
After a short 150-metre (490-foot) walk to the entry point, you’ll slip into the glacier-clear water and begin your journey between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Drift through Silfra’s bright blue channels, where visibility often reaches 150 metres (490 feet), and enjoy the slow-moving “lazy current” carrying you through the rift.
You’ll spend about 30–40 minutes snorkeling before exiting at the Silfra Lagoon. From there, it’s a 400-metre (1,300-foot) walk back to the parking area.
After the snorkel, warm up with hot chocolate and cookies while you enjoy the views of Thingvellir’s lava fields and mountains — the perfect ending to an unforgettable day!
Immerse yourself in the clearest water in the world and float between two continents in Iceland! A snorkelling adventure in the famous Silfra fissure is an unforgettable experience.
Snorkel in Silfra, where the astonishingly clear water reveals a mesmerising underwater world full of coluors you don't see above the surface. Silfra is a fissure created by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates cutting through Iceland. A natural lava filtering process of the glacial water makes Silfra one of the clearest bodies of water on Earth.
During the one-hour drive from Reykjavik to Pingvellir National Park, your guide will give you background information about the unique geology and cultural history of Iceland and Silfra, as well as the national park.
After you arrive at Silfra, your guide will give you your dry suit and snorkelling equipment. Your snorkel guide will explain how to use this equipment and how to ensure that you will be warm and comfortable during your 30 to 40-minute snorkelling tour.
During your snorkel you will explore the four main parts of Silfra. You will float through Big Crack, Silfra’s narrowest section where the continental plates are so close you can almost touch them. The fissure then widens into Silfra Hall. Here the full spectrum of Silfra's colours and clarity become all the more apparent. At this point if you look at just the right angle you can see all the way to Lake Pingvallavatn in the distance. Near to the opening to Pingvellir lake you will enter the deeper waters of Silfra Cathedral, where you'll feel like you are flying over the boulders and glacial silt. Your snorkel is finished in the endless visibility of Silfra Lagoon.
Make sure to drink some of the Silfra water while you are snorkeling! Who knows when you will be able to drink water so pure again?
Duration of snorkelling tour: 2.5 hours (30-40 minutes of snorkelling).

In the southwest corner of Iceland is the Reykjanes peninsula, less than 1-hour drive from the capital or 20-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport.
There the Mid-Atlantic Ridge comes ashore. The nature is magnificent. Various volcanic formations are found on Reykjanes Peninsula, such as mountains and hills chiefly made of volcanic tuff, large and small lava flows plus different types of volcanoes and volcanic edifices. The Reykjanes peninsula volcanic zone is a direct continuance of the North Atlantic Ridge that surfaces from the ocean at Reykjanes, and it is home to many important geological formations, some of which are utterly unique, including numerous types of volcanoes, naturally carved pools, craters, and geothermal pools.
Few things are cozier than relaxing in a hot pool in the middle of nature. Iceland has an abundance of easily accessible natural pools, but it is perhaps the Blue Lagoon the most spectacular of them all.
The Blue Lagoon was founded in 1992. Its specialty is the geothermal sea, which is two thirds of salt water and one third of fresh water. It is found at a depth of up to 2000 meters and is led by a pipe from the source to the lagoon where guests can enjoy it and relax. It is rich in minerals, silica, and algae, which is the basis of all skin products in the Blue Lagoon.
National Geographic has chosen the Blue Lagoon as one of the 25 wonders of the world. The Blue Lagoon has developed into an experience company based on spas, research and development, skin care, hotels, and restaurants

Together with your local guide, you will pass by the Hallgímskirkja church, the highest and probably most iconic building in town, as well as the Dome Church, which is Reykjavik’s Lutheran Cathedral and the bishop’s place in Iceland.
