Arrive in Anchorage, where you are met and transferred toyour hotel. Tonight, gather for a festive welcome dinner.

This morning, set out to experience Alaska’s jaw-droppinglandscapes on a family float trip down the Portage River.Savor Alaska’s prized fish during a lunchtime salmonbake. Later, enjoy a behind-the-scenes visit at the AlaskaWildlife Conservation Center, a nonprofit organization thatrehabilitates injured or orphaned animals and returns themto the wild. During your visit, keep on the lookout for blackand brown bears, moose, bison, wolves a variety of birds andother species. Dinner this evening is at your leisure, perhapsto enjoy one of the fine local restaurants.

Embark on a boat cruise in the majestic glacier and marinewildlife country of Prince William Sound. Spy calvingglaciers as well as species such as whales and sea lions at close range, even as a bald eagle wheels overhead. Return toyour hotel in the early evening for dinner at your leisure,whether at your hotel or in neighboring Girdwood.
