Welcome to the “Garden Isle,” rich in natural Polynesian beauty. You’re on a relaxing journey through the Hawaiian Islands of Kauai and Maui. With no scheduled tour activities today, you are free to explore your surroundings as you please.

Day 2 Kauai: Wailua River
Hotel: Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort & Spa
Kick off your adventure with a cruise along the tranquil Wailua River. Take in the jungle landscapes from an open-air boat as your captain shares stories of Kauai’s past. A short walk brings you to the Fern Grotto, where ancient Hawaiians once left offerings to the gods, and today is a popular wedding spot. After the boat ride, immerse yourself in the Hawaiian spirit as hula dancers demonstrate this ancient art form, traditionally performed in honor of Pele, the goddess of volcanoes and fire.
