The host of a cooking show, Nahid travels around Bangladesh and features local produce in the dishes she creates. Nahid’s food is a fusion of her mother’s royal coastal heritage and her father's Bikrampur tradition of fine cooking. Join Nahid in her home for a Bengali meal that might include dishes like barisal prawn malai curry (a curry of green leafy vegetables with prawns and coconut), shorsher eelish (hilsa fish in mustard sauce), khasha (chittagonian broad bean dish), moogh dal (mung lentils), and peetha. Your menu may vary based on seasonality. If you book a cooking experience, join Nahid in her kitchen where she will teach you to prepare a two to three traditional dishes, before you sit down together to enjoy the meal you helped prepare. Nahid also offers an optional market tour add-on during which you can visit a local market where Nahid will show you her favorite vendors and unique local produce. Please note, Nahid does not serve alcohol but guests are welcome to bring their own.
