Day 1: Welcome to the Algarve

Discover the Algarve's spectacular natural beauty, both on land and at sea, during this immersive full-day experience that combines a guided walk along the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail with a scenic cruise to the Benagil grottoes. Start the day with a hike along Europe's most breathtaking coastal trail, beginning at Praia da Marinha and ending at Praia do Carvalho. Along the 4 km route, you'll walk atop dramatic cliffs, pass sea-carved arches, and encounter a variety of native plants, butterflies, and seabirds. Springtime adds a colorful burst of wildflowers and fragrance to the air.

After the walk, enjoy free time in the charming fishing village of Ferragudo, where you can explore the cobbled lanes or enjoy a bite by the water. In the afternoon, set off from Portimão on a relaxing 2-hour boat cruise along the stunning Algarve coast. Glide past secluded beaches, striking cliffs, and into the sea caves of Benagil and Algar Seco, where centuries of ocean erosion have sculpted nature's finest artwork.

Algarve FD Driver-Guide (6 - 8 Hours)

Meet your private chauffeur at the dock and get to know the magnificent beaches and scenery of the region of Algarve.

Travel along the coast towards Ponta de Sagres and enjoy the magnificent view of Ponta da Piedade. Near one of the most western points of the European continent, after Cabo da Roca, is the Cape of S. Vicente, where you can marvel at a lighthouse under the cliffs. Visit, on own, at Sagres Fortress (entrance fess included).

Next stop will be Lagos. Visit, on own, to the Golden Gate (entrance fess included). of St. Anthony and the former slave market near the statue of Prince Henry the Navigator.

Time for lunch (not included) at a local restaurant.

After lunch, head towards the Monchique Mountains. Enjoy the green hills, fresh air, tranquility and spectacular views of the highest point of the Algarve - Foia. Enjoy a visit to the quiet village of Caldas de Monchique.

Your visit will continue through Silves. Visit, on own, to the Moorish Castle (entrance fess included) and the impressive Gothic Cathedral.

Ending the tour, your chauffeur will drop you off at the dock.
