Itinerary Details
Day 1: Auckland; Arrival in Auckland
Arrive in Auckland. After clearing Immigration and Customs, meet your driver in the Arrivals Hall for your private transfer to your Auckland accommodation for a 4-night stay. This afternoon, head to Level 5, 88 Federal Street, for the Weta Workshop Unleashed experience. Explore interactive and immersive make-believe film sets, focusing on horror, fantasy, and sci-fi. Get up-close and hands-on with enchanting environments, resident creatures, and a hyper-realistic giant.
Day 2: Auckland; Auckland Discovery Tour and Local Sightseeing
Discover Auckland on a half-day tour. Head to the Mission Bay waterfront suburb, driving along the scenic Tamaki Drive for unobstructed views of Rangitoto Island. Visit MJ Savage Memorial Park, also known as Bastion Point, which overlooks The Harbour Bridge, Waitemata Harbour, and Auckland City Skyline. Continue to Achilles Point for fantastic photos with Rangitoto Island as your background. Stop at One Tree Hill, a volcanic summit with 360-degree views of the city and rich history, and then visit Mount Eden summit to enjoy views over the Hauraki Gulf. The tour ends as you return to Auckland city.
Day 3: Auckland; Waitomo Glowworm Caves Adventure
Travel from your Auckland City hotel on a two & half-hour scenic drive in South Auckland and into the Waikato region with a scenic stop for amazing photos and any other stops if needed.,On arrival you will have around 30 minutes to shop in the Gift Shop and grab a drink or something to eat at the Waitomo Homestead.,Your Guide will take you on a one hour guided tour inside the Waitomo Glowworm Cave explaining the history of the Cave, the glowing worms and the formations you’ll see inside. You will ride on a flat bottom boat that will glide through the Waitomo river while you gaze silently at the sparkling worms.,After you finish your Glowworm Experience we make our way back through the scenic roads to Auckland.
Day 4: Queenstown; Auckland to Queenstown
Transfer by private vehicle to Auckland Airport for your flight to Queenstown (not included). On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for a 4-night stay. The remainder of your day is free to explore Queenstown at your leisure.
Day 5: Queenstown; Milford Sound Coach & Nature Cruise Experience
Board a coach in Queenstown and travel alongside Lake Wakatipu, through farming countryside and Te Anau, and then via stunning mountains and rain forest to Milford Sound. On arrival, enjoy a two-hour nature cruise with commentary, taking in waterfalls, wildlife sightings, and panoramic fiord views. After the cruise, return to Queenstown by coach.
Day 6: Queenstown; Best of Queenstown Tour
No trip to Queenstown is complete without taking in some incredible views, visiting Arrowtown, sampling some tasty local wine, and getting out on the water so the top local spots are handpicked and combined into an amazing half-day sightseeing experience. The tour departs from Central Queenstown, and the first stop is an observation point where you can take in one of the best panoramic views in Queenstown. After capturing some incredible photos, enjoy a brief stop overlooking the Shotover River before free time in the charming township Arrowtown. Travel to Gibbston and visit the world's first commercial Bungy jump offering entertainment spectating opportunities. The region is also home to some Middle-earth magic and is becoming increasingly famous for its world-class cold climate wine. Enjoy wine tasting (non-alcoholic substitutes available) and a shared cheese board at a local winery with jaw-dropping views. It's not finished there, on the way back to Queenstown transfer from land to the lake with a picturesque thirty-minute scenic boat cruise on Lake Wakatipu ending your tour at the wharf in the heart of town.
Day 7: Queenstown; Day at Queenstown
Day at leisure in Queenstown. Enjoy your time exploring the city, indulging in local experiences, or relaxing at your accommodation.
Day 8: Queenstown; Day at Queenstown
Transfer to Queenstown Airport for your onward flight arrangements.
