Day 1: ARRIVE IN NAIROBI, KENYA Welcome to Kenya! Hotel rooms are available for mid-afternoon check-in.
Day 2: NAIROBI
Embark on your private sightseeing experience with a heartwarming visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s renowned elephant orphanage, founded by Dame Daphne Sheldrick. Here, you’ll learn about vital elephant conservation efforts and meet young elephant calves rescued from poaching before their reintroduction into the wild. As part of Globus family of brands Lighthouse Project, your visit contributes to Trusts mission. Continue to the Karen Blixen Museum, where the legacy of the Out of Africa author comes to life through stories of her remarkable years in Kenya and her historic coffee farm, followed by a delightful lunch at the museum’s restaurant. Conclude your day at the Giraffe Center, a leading conservation organization dedicated to protecting the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, where you’ll have the chance to learn about this unique sub-species.

Day 3: NAIROBI–OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Drive today to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest rhino sanctuary in East Africa and a vital stronghold for endangered species. This remarkable conservancy is home to some of the last free-roaming northern white rhino and more than 165 critically endangered black rhinos, making it one of the continent’s most important wildlife protection areas. After lunch, set out on your first game drive in search of the iconic “Big Five”, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo. As part of Globus family of brands Lighthouse Project, your visit contributes to Wildlife Conservation Network’s Lion Recovery Fund, aimed at recovering the lion population in Africa after more than half have been lost over the past 25 years. This is one example of our commitment to supporting the people and places we share with you.

Day 4: OL PEJETA
Rise early for a morning game drive, with the majestic peaks of Mount Kenya providing a stunning backdrop as the conservancy comes to life. In addition to seeking out the “Big Five,” keep watch for cheetah, zebra, gazelle, and a variety of other wildlife that thrive in this rich ecosystem. And if luck is on your side, you may even glimpse the elusive and highly endangered African wild dog. After lunch, continue your exploration of Ol Pejeta with an afternoon game drive that includes a meaningful visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Established in partnership with the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Jane Goodall Institute, the sanctuary offers a safe, long term refuge for chimpanzees rescued from traumatic conditions such as poaching and illegal wildlife trafficking. As you observe the chimps in their naturalized enclosures, you’ll learn about their stories and the conservation efforts dedicated to their protection.

Day 5: OL PEJETA–LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK AREA
Enjoy a final game drive in the conservancy this morning before departing for the Lake Nakuru region. Your journey carries you through the scenic Kenyan Highlands, one of Africa’s most fertile and picturesque agricultural landscapes, where rolling fields and patchwork farms stretch toward the horizon. En route, stop for lunch and take in the beautiful surroundings before continuing onward to your next destination. After arriving and settling in at your lodge, enjoy dinner and a free evening.

Day 6: LAKE NAKURU AREA
Explore Lake Nakuru National Park today with both morning and afternoon game drives, giving you ample time to experience the park’s rich landscapes and wildlife. One of its most distinctive features is the largest euphorbia forest in Africa, a unique, towering succulent woodland that serves as an important food and pollination source for bees and black rhinos, yet remains toxic to many other animals. As you journey through the park, keep an eye out for its diverse wildlife and striking scenery, making for a memorable day of discovery.

Day 7: LAKE NAKURU–MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE AREA
Journey today to the famed Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife region. Known locally as “The Mara,” this vast reserve forms the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem and supports an impressive permanent population of game year round. During the Great Migration, typically from August to early November, the Mara becomes the dramatic stage for nearly two million migrating wildebeest and zebra, creating an extraordinary spectacle and providing abundant hunting opportunities for predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena. After arriving, set out on an afternoon game drive to begin exploring this wildlife rich landscape. Enjoy one final game drive this morning, taking in the last unforgettable scenes of wildlife before your journey home begins. Later, fly back to Nairobi, where a day room has been reserved for you at the Nairobi Serena Hotel, for those with late flights, providing a comfortable place to relax, refresh, and prepare for your journey home. Please schedule departing flights for after 5:00 p.m. to allow ample time for transfers and check in.
