Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town
Transfer: Cape Town Airportto Cape Town - Bantry Bay, Camps Bay & Sea Point

Day 2: Half Day Private Authentic Cape Town City TourThis morning, you will be picked up from your hotel for a half-day Cape Town City tour. No visit to Cape Town is complete without a tour of the "Mother City". Sense the depth of history as you drive past Parliament Buildings, City Hall, and the Slave Lodge before stopping for a short visit to the Castle of Good Hope (optional), originally built as a maritime replenishment station and now the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa! Alternatively, we walk around the Grand Parade square, which has its own historical significance.
We hear of the brief history of District Six en route to a visit to the Company Gardens, where we walk through the landscaped gardens. Learn more about the history of the Bo-Kaap and its people as we move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colours of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes.
Follow the journey of a professional diamond cutter with a visit to a diamond cutting factory After learning more about the history of diamonds and gold in South Africa, we drive past the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Stadium, Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay as we make our way to Table Mountain where you have the option of either admiring the views from the lower cable station or purchasing a ticket (for own account) to reach the summit.
After delighting in this photo opportunity, return to your hotel, or enjoy additional time on the mountain before making your own way back at your leisure.
Day 3: Full Day Private Peninsula TourCruise along Millionaire's Paradise from Clifton to Camps Bay and on to Llandudno before an up-close-and-personal Seal Island cruise. Wind along Chapman's Peak Drive with lunch (own account) at Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park before meandering back along the coast, visiting Simon's Town and ending your day at the penguin colony at Boulder's Beach where you get to watch these entertaining, waddling characters.
Your experience highlights: Seal Island Cruise (optional and for own account) - Chapman's Peak Drive - Cape Point - Simon's Town Penguin Colony at Boulder's Beach.
Day 4: Depart Cape Town on Rovos RailDepart from Cape Town Station. Trundle through the winelands of the Western Cape towards Worcester. Tea in the lounge and observation cars. Dinner is served in the dining cars. The train climbs ±750m up the face of the escarpment. Around midnight, the train arrives at the first of four tunnels on the pass. The last tunnel is 13.5km long so guests are to be careful if walking through the train.

Day 5: Matjiesfontein and the KarrooBreakfast is served in the dining cars until 10:00. Disembark at Matjiesfontein for an opportunity to stroll through the historic village. Of special interest is the museum on the platform and a collection of historic cars and railway carriages to the right of the Lord Milner Hotel. The train travels through the Karoo, a vast semi-desert region that was once an enormous inland sea. Over millions of years, volcanic matter was ground down and deposited as silt upon the seabed to form what geologists call the Karoo system. Lunch is served in the dining cars. Tea in the lounge and observation cars. Dinner is served in the dining cars. Overnight on board.

Day 6: Kimberley and the HighveldBreakfast is served in the dining cars until 08:30. Enjoy a tour of Kimberley's Diamond Mine Museum and the Big Hole. Capital of the Northern Cape, Kimberley is well known for the discovery of diamonds that led to its establishment in 1871. Lunch is served in the dining cars. The train travels northeast towards the broad grassland plains of the Highveld. Tea in the lounge and observation cars. Dinner is served in the dining cars. Overnight on board.
