Day 1: London Arrival & Windsor Castle
Your tour departs from your hotel at 2:00 PM to see the splendors of Windsor Castle, a residence of the King, and the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. Then take a walking tour around the medieval town of Windsor. Enjoy a welcome drink with your group, then dine and explore as you wish this evening.

Day 2: Stonehenge, Salisbury & Devon
Marvel at the prehistoric circle of vast monoliths of Stonehenge and learn about the primitive builders who created these enduring monuments. Stop in Salisbury, a charming old city where the cathedral boasts the tallest spire in England. Arrive in Tavistock, a market town on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. Dine at your hotel this evening.

Day 3: Cornwall, St Michael's Mount & St Ives

Day 5: Hay-on-Wye & Shrewsbury

Day 7: Lake District & Edinburgh

Day 8: Edinburgh Castle & City Tour
Explore central Edinburgh starting in the 200-year-old “New Town” with planned streets and elegant Georgian houses where many famous writers and inventors lived. See the Royal Mile with its narrow medieval houses, then tour Edinburgh Castle to see the Crown Jewels of Scotland. The rest of the day is free to explore the city as you wish. Departures from August 2 – 16 will attend The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo with reserved seats on the castle esplanade.

With Scotland's most famous castle dominating the city, Edinburgh provides a fantastic introduction to this magical country. This morning you will receive a warm welcome by your local guide as you disembark your cruise for your full day sightseeing tour (8 hours) by private vehicle.

You will first head up to Edinburgh Castle, where you will see the 'Honours of Scotland', or the Scottish Crown Jewels, and have the opportunity to admire striking views across the city. Drive along the Royal Mile to the imposing Holyrood Palace*, the Queen's Official Residence in Scotland.

Continue the Royal theme this afternoon, with a visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia. Built in Scotland, and now permanently moored here, this famous ship hosted many official voyages during her working life. Your guide will bring the Royal Yacht Britannia’s intriguing history to life prior to the short transfer back to your cruise ship.
