Day 1: Welcome to Naples

On arrival at the airport or rail station, you'll be warmly greeted and chauffeured to your choice of hotel, the deluxe Grand Hotel Santa Lucia in a deluxe sea view room or the luxury Grand Hotel Vesuvio in a sea view junior suite. Settle in to your sea-view room and enjoy the rest of this day at leisure.

Day 2: Monuments + Flavors of Naples #WHS#

Setting out with your own professional guide, an engaging city resident, today's private tour will reveal the historic landmarks and tempting flavors of this vibrant, cosmopolitan city. Traveling in a chauffeured vehicle, you'll see and learn about Naples' most important monuments including the impressive Royal Palace that dominates the Piazza del Plebiscito. Nearby, St. Francis Basilica is easily recognized by its grand colonnaded façade. From Via Caracciolo, the city's inviting seafront promenade, you'll have wonderful views of the Bay of Naples and the medieval Castel dell'Ovo. Highlighting your exploration is a chance to sample two of the city's beloved local specialties: Pizza Margherita and delicate Sfogliatella pastry. The remainder of your time in Naples is free to explore and enjoy as you wish. Meals B

Day 3: Across the Bay of Naples to Capri

After breakfast, you'll be chauffeured to the Naples pier where we will assist you with boarding the jetfoil that will transport you to the magical Isle of Capri. On arrival, you'll be warmly greeted and escorted to your choice of accommodations, a deluxe garden view room at La Scalinatella or the luxury Grand Hotel Quisisana in a deluxe park view room with balcony. The rest of this day is at leisure so you can shop, explore or simply soak in the soothing charms of Capri as you wish. Meals B

Day 4: Discover Capri + The Blue Grotto

After a leisurely breakfast, join your personal Caprese guide for a tour of the island's highlights. Driving past luxuriant private gardens and through the natural Mediterranean vegetation, you'll ascend to Anacapri. Set on the rugged and rocky slopes of Mt. Solaro, this beguiling village of fewer than 7,000 residents offers marvelous views and a chance to experience a quieter and perhaps more authentic side of life on this popular resort island. Take time to experience the delightful pace of life here in Anacapri or, if you wish, you might take the chairlift up to the 1,930-foot summit of Mt. Solaro. Of course, no stay on the island would be complete without a visit to the spectacular Blue Grotto. So, weather permitting, we've included a guided rowboat excursion so you can experience for yourself the iridescent blue waters of this natural wonder. Back in Capri town, enjoy a guided stroll through the Piazzetta, the always lively and fashionable main square. Meals B

Day 5: Personalize Your Stay on Capri

There are many reasons why Capri has long been a favorite destination for sophisticated travelers, from world-famous celebrities to anyone in search of a magical getaway. Day 6: Onward to Sorrento

After breakfast and check out, you'll be chauffeured to the pier where you'll board the jetfoil that will take you to the southern shores of the Bay of Naples. On arrival in Sorrento, you'll be met and escorted to your Sorrentine hotel. This afternoon, our engaging resident guide will take you on a 2-hour walking tour. Focusing on the historical city center, you'll see and learn about some of Sorrento's most important landmarks. Along the way, your guide will also share their personal insights into the history and modern-day culture of this picturesque Mediterranean town. Before taking your leave, our in-the-know guide will be happy to offer dining recommendations for this evening. Meals B

Day 7: Amalfi Coast Excursion to Positano + Ravello #WHS#

With your own private vehicle and driving guide, this full-day excursion is highlighted by one of the world's most spectacular journeys. Hugging the steep mountainsides that overlook the Gulf of Salerno, the Amalfi Coast Drive is a World Heritage Site punctuated by breathtaking natural beauty and enchanting coastal villages. Stop to take in the views of Positano from above, including the majolica-tiled dome of the Cathedral, and drive through Praiano to catch a glimpse of the spectacular Fjord of Furore. Then continue to Amalfi where you can stroll through town to see the beautiful mosaic façade of St. Andrew's Cathedral. After some free time in Amalfi, you'll ascend to the hilltop town of Ravello, revered throughout history for its captivating beauty. With our flexible privately guided services, you can choose to spend a bit more time in Amalfi or Ravello to enjoy lunch on your own - perhaps in a restaurant overlooking the sea.
