Flight Arrival & Meet Guide
Welcome to Ireland! After landing, complete customs and immigration formalities before meeting your CIE Tours driver/guide, who will be waiting in the Arrivals Hall. Enjoy your comfortable ride with your knowledgeable driver who will guide you through the popular and hidden gems of Ireland.

Tollymore Forest
At the foot of Mourne Mountains, rests Tollymore Forest. The forest is comprised of over 600 hectares, holding ancient redwoods as well as Gothic stone arches, the remnants of an 18th century estate. This forest made its mark as the Haunted Forest, where the White Walkers began their march into the realm of men.  This is also where the Starks discover the direwolves.

Enjoy the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere as you sit by the log fire, take in the stunning views and enjoy a drink or delicious meal. Visit the beautiful Game of Thrones Door, carved from the fallen Beech Trees at the iconic Dark Hedges. 

Inch Abbey
Visit Inch Abbey in Downpatrick. This location is used regularly throughout the filming of the Game of Thrones series. The haunting ruins were most notably the setting in season one as Robb Stark’s camp where he became the King of the North.

The archery range film set still stands in the Winterfell Castle courtyard, where the filming originally took place. Meet Winterfell's Master-at-Arms, dress up in character costumes from the show, tour the movie set, stand exactly where Jon Snow, Robb and Bran Stark stood and enjoy the thrill of firing live arrows at White Walkers!

Belfast Panoramic
Embark on a panoramic tour around Belfast. In the city center see the Albert Memorial, the Opera House and Crown Liquor Saloon. In Donegall Square visit the imposing City Hall, completed in 1906. The richly decorated interior contains stained glass portraying Belfast's principal industries.

Titanic Belfast
In the Titanic Quarter, visit Titanic Belfast to embark on a journey through the life of the Titanic, from her conception in Belfast to her tragic end. Interestingly, just across the road are the studios where much of the filming and cast used to work on a day-to-day basis. Unfortunately, we cannot venture into the studio... trust us we’ve tried.

Glens of Antrim
Nine Glens of Antrim
Drive along the coast to experience one of Ireland's popular scenic routes. Here, you'll see the "Nine Glens of Antrim", which are nine wooded river valleys carved into a 54 mile stretch along the coast of Northern Ireland. The scenic offers awe inspiring views of mountains, forests, valleys, and shoreline.

Cushendun Caves
Creep into Cushendun Caves, which was formed over a period of 400 million years. The caves featured Melisandre giving birth to the shadow assassin.

Ballintoy Harbour
Ballintoy Harbour is the next port of call, which is where Theon docked at when he returned to Pyke in the Iron Islands. The small fishing harbour is still used by local boatmen. 

The harbor location has been used for many exterior shots of the Port of Pyke facing out onto the Iron Islands- home of the Greyjoys. 

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
Stop en route to visit the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge which spans a chasm of some eighty feet deep. This swinging rope bridge is not for the faint-hearted, but the coastal views are wonderful, even without crossing the bridge. The famous peninsula accessed by the bridge has been seen in the background several times throughout the Game of Thrones series, but most notably as Storm’s End, seat of House Baratheon.

Dark Hedges
Pause to view the iconic Dark Hedges in County Antrim. The impressive trees were planted in the 1700's and the forbidding landscape was used as Kingsroad in season two of Game of Thrones, as Arya Stark tried to escape Kingslanding.

Giant's Causeway
Downhill Strand
Downhill strand is a scenic beach in Co. Londonderry, otherwise known to be Dragonstone where the Seven Idols of Westeros were burned. It is dominated by the elegant 18th century ruins of Mussenden Temple set on the cliffs. 

Mussenden Temple
Visit Mussenden Temple - which was modeled on a Roman temple and built in 1785. Today it is one of Ireland’s most photographed buildings with the stunning beach just below it. This was also where Stannis Baratheon drew a flaming sword from the flames, ‘Lightbringer’.

Giants Causeway
Stop to visit the Giant's Causeway, an impressive area of hexagonal columns formed over 60 million years ago by cooling lava which has given rise to many legends. The story goes that Irish giant Fionn mac Cumhaill was challenged to a fight by the Scottish giant Benandonner, and the causeway was built as a meeting point for the two. In one version, Fionn defeats Benandonner, while in another, he is disguised as a baby and tricks Benandonner into thinking that he is the largest giant based on the size of his “child”. In this version, Benandonner flees across the North Channel destroying the causeway in his path.

Visit Bushmills Distillery, which is Ireland's oldest whiskey distillery. See how whiskey is distilled and then try a sample at the end of your tour.

Drive from Derry to Dublin, leaving the Seven Kingdoms behind.

Dublin Panoramic
Take an orientation drive around Dublin city center. Dublin is one of the liveliest capitals in Europe but there are plenty of historical places also. See the main thoroughfares of O'Connell Street and Nassau Street, the shopping streets and some lovely public parks.
