New Zealand rugby, a visit to the Sky Tower, and free time in Auckland

Today you'll learn about the significance of rugby in New Zealand with a visit to the All Blacks Experience that includes a 45 minute guided tour where you learn what it takes to make, shape and be an All Black. This will include learning the story and feeling the passion behind the All Blacks haka; you can then test your rugby skills against All Blacks and Black Ferns in the hands-on, interactive zone. Following your visit, take in sweeping panoramic views of Auckland and its surrounding harbors from the Sky Tower's observation deck, a breathtaking vantage point in the heart of the city. The remainder of the day is free to explore as you choose.

Day 3 Rotorua, New Zealand
Auckland to the magical Waitomo Caves and Rotorua

Depart Auckland this morning for the amazing Waitomo Caves - a journey into a magical underground world where thousands of glowworms illuminate ancient limestone caverns. As you glide quietly along an underground river, the glowing canopy above feels like a galaxy of stars, creating an awe-inspiring experience. You'll embark on a guided tour through narrow passageways and stunning chambers, marveling at the incredible stalactites and stalagmites. The highlight of the experience is a float trip through the Glowworm Grotto, where thousands of glowworms create a mesmerizing, starry spectacle above.The glowworms in Waitomo Caves are bioluminescent larvae of a unique species native to New Zealand. A nature adventure or unique hot springs experience today in Rotorua

Today, explore New Zealand's geothermal wonders at Te Puia for excellent viewing of the area's geothermal attractions - including the spectacular Pohutu (Big Splash) geyser; discover Maori cultural traditions through a special welcome, with an opportunity to learn about Maori culture and arts and crafts. National schools teaching the Maori crafts of woodcarving, weaving, and stone and bone carving are all represented at Te Puia, and there is also a conservation centre helping to protect New Zealand's avian icon, the kiwi. You have a choice this afternoon of activity; Take the Rotorua Canopy Tour - a forested network of swing bridges, platforms, and zip lines - all 22 meters high in the forest and often soundtracked by native birdlife - you'll journey deep into the ancient native forest to complete 6 zip lines and 2 swing bridges. Here, you'll get an authentic farm experience, including a sheepdog demonstration, where you'll see these skilled animals work in perfect harmony with their handlers. Following that, a sheep shearing demonstration gives you a unique insight into New Zealand's agricultural heritage and the art of wool production. Famous for awesome geological forces, Rotorua has hundreds of gentle plopping mud pools, powerful erupting geysers, and intriguing geothermal lakes. Maori Culture is another unique facet to Rotorua's popularity. Blenheim
This is a provincial town with a difference. A city center long ago claimed from a wayward river has resulted in a street layout with spirit and character abounding with quirky lanes and sunny gathering places. On the clear, spring-fed Taylor River sightseeing riverboats retrace the route of steamboats that once carried produce. A miniature railway runs alongside the river to Brayshaw Park. Central focus of Blenheim is The Forum, with its historic bandstand watching over the shops and street markets below. The Forum also provides an occasional amphitheatre for the performing arts. The modern shops and cafés that surround The Forum are a sample of a town deserving of praise it receives from visitors. Blenheim is blessed with many attractive parks, such as Seymour Square and Pollard Park. On the outskirts of town, Brayshow Historic Park preserves the province's pioneering endeavour. Relocated colonial buildings in a recreated turn-of-the-century street keep company with a modern building housing archives and a vintage farm machinery museum.
Queenstown
Queenstown hosts an outstanding collection of adrenaline inducing activities and spectacular scenery. From jumping from tall bridges or quiet fishing, this is New Zealand's number one adventure destination.
