Kapama Private Game Reserve

White River
Swaziland (eSwatini)
Swaziland - independent since 1968 - is one of the only three monarchies left in Africa. And proud of it! Led by His Majesty King Mswati III the nation rejoices in its traditions and is staunchly committed to safeguarding its rich culture, social and natural heritage for future generations.Few countries today can boast the safety, stability and peace which Swaziland enjoys, both internationally and with her neighbours. Visitors to the Kingdom cannot but feel and appreciate the warmth and friendliness of their hosts, a characteristic engendered by this stability, nor fail to appreciate the safety it promises to travellers. Access to Swaziland, may be made through any of twelve border posts or the centrally located Matsapha airport with all four corners of the country accessible by tarred road. The capital Mbabane, and the industrial hub of Manzini, are sophisticated business centers offering an upbeat alternative to the tranquility and sense of timeless found in more outlying areas. No matter where your travels take you within the kingdom, you will meet the courtesy, friendliness and genuine desire to help and share that make it easy to see why Swaziland claims to offer the visitor …. "The Royal Experience." Swaziland was renamed The Kingdom of eSwatini in 2018.
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve
Umhlanga
This coastal suburb of Durban is around 30 minutes north of the city center, and its Zulu name means "Place of Reeds," in reference to years gone by when reeds were washed down to the beach by the Ohlanga River. In the 19th century, local farmers leased small plots on the beach to build holiday cottages—the first of which was built in 1869 and called the Oyster Box (today the site of the five-star Oyster Box Hotel). Umhlanga remains a popular, upmarket seaside resort and has beautiful, protected swimming beaches. It also has numerous restaurants and pavement cafes, and the mega Gateway Shopping Theatre. The Umhlanga Lagoon lies just to the north of town at the end of the promenade, where the Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve (open 6 am-6 pm; free) has 2.5 mi/4 km of walking trails through coastal forest and dunes. Also on the promenade, you won't miss the large red-and-white Umhlanga Lighthouse, which was completed in 1954 and is still in use today. Information can be found at Umhlanga Tourism. Open Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm, Saturday 9 am-noon. Chartwell Centre, Umhlanga Drive, Umhlanga. Phone 031-561-4257. http://www.umhlanga-rocks.com.

Knysna
Knysna nestles on the banks of a beautiful lagoon in the heart of the ‘Garden Route’ of South Africa. It is surrounded by a natural paradise of lush indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches, making it a natural wonderland. A moderate climate and a fine selection of accommodation, restaurants and enjoyable activities make Knysna the perfect holiday destination.

Knysna Lagoon Oyster Tour

Knysna Lagoon Oyster Tour

The coastal town of Knysna and Oysters go together like
champagne and caviar, sea and sky, summer breezes and cold beers. Enjoy the ultimate oyster experience on the spectacular Knysna Lagoon and learn all there is to know about one of the world's most loved delicacies.

Taste the difference between wild and cultivated oysters, all
whilst cruising the lagoon to the Heads and surrounds with a small group of guests. The cruise includes complimentary local white wine and oysters for tasting. Extra oysters are available on pre-order to enjoy on the boat.

Cruise includes an oyster educational experience, complimentary white wine, and half a dozen fresh oysters per person.

Oudtshoorn

There are some 150,000 domesticated ostriches in the world, and 120,000 of them live around Oudtshoorn, South Africa, a dusty town on the edge of the Little Karoo plain 210 mi/340 km east of Cape Town.

They wander the stony farms, scratching a minimal diet from the harsh desert scrub. Be sure to visit a farm (at some, you can even ride an ostrich), then head to the C.P. Nel Museum to learn about the history of the trade, which flourished in the days when ostrich feathers were a popular accessory. Plumes, once de rigueur for ladies' evening wear, are still sent all over the world.

There's also a nice suspension bridge over the Grobbelaar River. Be sure to go 20 mi/30 km north from Oudtshoorn to take a tour of the spectacular Cango Caves. Although somewhat overrun with tourists, the caverns are acclaimed as the most beautiful calcite in the world (and we won't dispute that). While in the area, also visit the Cango Crocodile Ranch and Cheetahland.

Hermanus
Hermanus is located on the southern coast of the Western Cape of South Africa. Hermanus is a famous viewing spot for southern right whales, and they can often be spotted from the cliffs in the town center June through December. Visitors also enjoy the many open-air cafes, restaurants, art galleries, craft markets and boutiques in town.
Cape Town
Cape Town is southern Africa's most beautiful, most romantic and most-visited city. Few urban centers anywhere can match its setting along the Cape Peninsula spine, which slides like the mighty tail of the continent into the Atlantic Ocean. By far the most striking - and famous - of its sights is Table Mountain, frequently mantled by clouds, and rearing up from the middle of the city to provide a constantly changing vista to the suburbs below. Table Mountain is the city's solid core which divides the city into distinct zones with public gardens, wilderness, forests, hiking routes, vineyards and desirable residential areas trailing down it's lower slopes.
