Day 3: MONTRÉAL–QUÉBEC CITY French Toasts Depart Montreal for charming Québec City for a 3-night stay in the legendary landmark, Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. Discover one of the most historic and best-preserved cities in North America. The afternoon is free to explore the holiday markets or stroll the streets of Old Québec City. (B)

Day 4: QUÉBEC CITY How Sweet it is! Discover Canada’s only walled city with a Local Guide on a sightseeing tour. Until the British victory of 1759, Old Québec was the center of New France. Within its walls are Place d’Armes, Laval Seminary, and ancient Place Royale. Also, ride the funicular and see the old-world houses crowding the narrow streets in Lower Town by the St. Lawrence River and historic Plains of Abraham. Visit a locally owned [LF] Sugar Shack for a traditional sugar shack lunch including live musical entertainment. Explore the unique copper creations at the Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio and Museum. Continue to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Shrine to see one of his greatest works of art, the hand-made copper main doors of the Basilica. Continue to Montmorency Falls Park for stunning views of a natural waterfall, the tallest in Quebec and 30 m taller than Niagara Falls (weather permitting). The afternoon is free to explore the holiday markets for Christmas cheer and European-style outdoor market shopping. (B,L)

Day 6: QUÉBEC CITY–MONTRÉALAll Aboard! Wave goodbye to your Tour Director and Driver and continue to Montréal on the VIA Rail train for a one-night stay at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth. (B)
