The marble fireplaces in many suites are original to the 1912 hotel, while the luxurious and modern finishes were added during the recent restoration. Many rooms and suites have hardwood flooring, while the rest are laid out with 100 per cent wool, 48-pile carpeting.

In addition to remembering a guest’s temperature preferences upon check-in, the rooms also feature motion sensors that activate lights to guide guests in a darkened room. The 33 suites, 8 of which feature a 1-bedroom layout, are designed with every comfort in mind. For families traveling together, 22-conjoined suites are available. The room connections are accessed through recessed walk-in closets to offer additional privacy.
Royal Suite:
The 4,700 square feet Royal Suite, is the largest hotel suite in Montreal. The 3-bedroom suite can also be configured as a 1-bedroom suite, part of the architect’s intentions to divide public and private spaces. A master and junior bathroom off the master suite, as well as a private sitting area and library are just some of the luxuries that await guests who check into the Royal Suite. The hotel’s splendid history is brought to mind through the suite’s décor, which features a $75,000 reclaimed desk from the original building as well as unique curved windows.

Directions from P. E. Trudeau Airport:
- Take Highway 20 East
- Continue on Highway 20, staying in the middle lane, and you will automatically get onto Highway 720 East, which is also known as the Ville-Marie Highway
- Follow the directions towards Downtown Montreal (“Centre-Ville”)
- Take the Rue Guy exit
- When you take the exit, the first light will be René-Lévesque
- Turn right on René-Lévesque, stay in the left lane
