Queen Anne Courtyard

The Queen Anne Courtyard was built in 1736 by Sir Edward O’Brien and each of these elegant rooms has recently enjoyed a superb make-over. With views overlooking the charming Courtyard Garden, each Courtyard Room features a luxurious King bed, opulent bathroom, fresh colour scheme and separate sitting room for added comfort and space.

Deluxe

Overlooking the lake and Dromoland’s gardens, our Deluxe bedrooms have been individually designed as restful retreats. Spacious and indulgent, they marry contemporary design with classic elements, through a luxurious combination of specially commissioned wall fabric to historically-inspired furniture. State-of-the-art technology and opulent bathrooms ensure a blissful stay.  

Executive Deluxe

Individually designed, our stylish Executive Deluxe rooms are ideal for those looking for a little extra space and comfort. Located within the Castle, each enjoys original architectural features and a larger floor space. Stateroom

Our staterooms are sensational. Housed within the castle’s original walls, each is unique in size, space and style and comes complete with its own intimate seating and dining area. Executive Stateroom

Suites

Impressive and luxurious, our beautiful Executive Suites bring comfort to a new level. Housed within the original castle walls, each has been individually designed to capitalise on its regal surroundings. Imaginatively furnished with bespoke pieces and with its own separate sitting room and dining area, each executive suite is resplendent with inviting beds, historically-inspired furnishings, glamorous bathrooms and thoughtful details. Brian Boru Suite

Named after Irelands only High King, whose ancestors built Dromoland Castle, our premier suite really is fit for royalty. Intimate, luxurious and glamorous, the soothing duck egg and gold palette is carried though the lavish sitting room to the spacious bedroom with its magnificent four-poster bed, chandeliers and separate dressing room. Irresistibly comfortable, large windows flood the suite with natural light, offering sweeping views over Dromoland Lough and across the estate. The impressive bathroom includes a double shower room and spectacular freestanding slipper bath that’s just perfect for a soak before dinner.

Archery

The classic castle pursuit is available to guests. € 40.00 per person including instruction based on a minimum of 3 people

Bicycle Rentals

The castle has a number of mountain bikes available for complimentary for guests who wish to pursue the many laneways and byways of the estate. Additional bikes can be arranged at a cost of €35.00 per bike.

Fishing

Fishing available for residents on our Lake. The Lake is well stocked with trout, perch and other coarse fish. Guests may fish from the banks of the lake, or on one of the estate boats. Expert assistance from our ghillies is available by prior arrangement. Ghillie €100.00 per day.

Golf

Golf Green Fees:Enjoy the splendor of our magnificent 18 hole, 6845 yard championship parkland course; Clubs, buggies and equipment are available at the Proshop.

Horseback Riding

We are happy to make arrangements for guests at a nearby equestrian centre. Cost €90.00 per person per hour including equipment and instruction.

Shooting Range

The estate has a dedicated shooting range. Cost €55.00 per person based on a minimum of 3 people.

Tennis

Complimentary for residents on an all weather outdoor tennis courts. Racquets and tennis balls available at reception.

The Fig Tree Restaurant

The Fig Tree Restaurant at Dromoland Castle Golf and Country Club offers relaxed dining in a warm, welcoming setting. Enjoy fireside chats and fine drinks on rainy days or dine outdoors on sunny evenings amid the historic walled gardens.

Our wide drink selection pairs perfectly with menus to suit every appetite—from light bites and salads to steaks, pizzas, and pub classics. Loved by guests, golfers, and locals alike, it’s the ideal spot for easy going meals and good conversation.

The Gallery

One of the most beloved spots in the Castle, the impressive Gallery captures the essence of Dromoland’s magic. Sink into a deep fire-side sofa or cosy armchair and settle in for a morning’s reading, replenished by coffee and scones or a light lunch. Relax here after a day’s activities with a casual evening meal, afternoon tea or cocktail and a snack. Surrounded by beautiful antiques, hunting mounts, ancestral portraits and the comfiest of furnishings, don’t be surprised if you linger longer than you intended!
