Staff were all friendly and helpful and provided great service. There were some tasty dishes on the menu but overall the food was not good and sometimes inedible. The free excursions (walking tours mostly) happened so early in the morning we missed all of them. Usually there was nothing to do in the afternoon. The paid excursions were horribly expensive and too long away from the boat. Overall, there was very little programming and not much to do. Dinners dragged on and on--the staff did their best to get everyone served in a timely manner but there's no way to do that. They need to figure out a new system for dinners.

The safety card in our state room showing our emergency meeting area needs to be clearer. The letter B was in white on a yellow background and very hard to see. We did not know our meeting area was area B until the safety meeting. The letter needs to be much more prevalent and easier to see in case of an emergency.

Pros: Lovely vessel, excellent food, quality staff and a delightful experience. The food and wine sections were excellent and the tours were varied and interesting. We would definitely cruise with UniWorld again.

The ship was very well maintained along with a very happy and helpful crew in the dining room, bar and lounge. Shore trips were excellent and ran according to schedule. Enjoyed the experience immensely.

Pros: Excellent staff and accommodations. Good food and great wine. Pyet was great with the excursions.

Cons: Our stateroom was at the bow, and there was an occasional diesel smell.

Had the time of our lives. Everything was wonderful. Good food, and it was great to have a sommelier on board. Excursions were great and a good variety.

If I had known cruises were this wonderful I would have taken many more before this one! Now I am hooked, but as my staff tell me, I am spoiled! There is no going back to any other cruise line but Uniworld! I hope to take many more cruises in the future! Thanks for such a wonderful vacation!

The best vacation ever

Pros: The ship was beautiful, a truly, floating hotel. The crew couldn’t of been nicer. They were beyond any expectations I had. The food was excellent. We enjoyed having an overview of the next day with Pete, and found every guide, driver, waitress’, to be so nice and friendly.

Cons: I can’t say anything negative about the ship! One thing, we didn’t have any entertainment on the ship for 2 nights, apparently they canceled and couldn’t get a replacement

Everything on the ship was wonderful. The staff was the greatest. Very attentive to details. The food and drink was outstanding. We really enjoyed our pre and post cruise extensions. Our local guides for these were fantastic. They took very good care of us. The cruise director, Chad, was the best. We enjoyed all the excursions we took. The local guides for these were also excellent. They all spoke very good English and were very knowledgeable. Everything on the cruise was very well organized. If there were any problems the staff handled them quickly and to everyone's satisfaction.

In the future, I would prefer to select my own airline. American Airline was not the best. I would choose Delta.

River Cruise

Pros: Only have to unpack once. Experience 4 countries in 8 days. Fabulous food.

Cons: Seeing 4 countries in 8 days doesn't leave much room for relaxation.

I would definitely recommend a river cruise on Uniworld. The staff is unbelievably well trained and is always trying to please. The chef is wonderful. Tour guides are very well informed and educated.

Everything about this cruise was first class: dining room, cabin, excursions, ship's staff. The mission of the staff and crew was to make the traveler's experience enjoyable and unforgettable. They were always pleasant and eager to please. In addition to the included excursions we took two optional excursions which were very good. Uniworld was great!
