Wonderful cruise for our parents' wedding anniversary
September
Pros: Great ship, still very new, huge variety of restaurants and entertainment
Cons: Short port time on last stop due to long travel back to Port Canaveral
Recommended: Yes
We had a large group for a family reunion and to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The staff were all wonderful and took great care of us, helping to make the celebration of the anniversary and our overall reunion be as great as it could be. The MDR staff in particular were fantastic and went out of their way to help with the celebrations, but all the restaurant staff (specialty and others) as well as our stateroom attendants and other staff were very friendly and good overall.
The actual ship was fantastic, with so many entertainment and dining options and venues. In particular, the casino was very well run and the hosts like Sergio were friendly and helpful. Also, the Music Hall was a very nice venue to have that other Oasis class ships don't always have, and the Centerpiece Band that often played there were very good and also friendly.
Wonder of the Seas
September
Pros: Food
Cons: Toilet plumbing issues in room
Recommended: Yes
We had 2 rooms and my room constantly had issues with the toilet flushing and overflowing, every morning when I woke up the water was to the top and at one point flowing out of our toilet. This happened multiple times a day, every single day of the cruise. I had to call maintenance to our room each day. I went to guest services to discuss this with them and they informed me the maintenance manager would come by, he never did.
I would think for the amount of money we spent, we would have been offered to switch rooms at the very least. Other than that, my family enjoyed the cruise and the rest of the staff.
Great Family Vacation
August
Pros: Good food, good service, Coastal Kitchen great for suite guests.
Cons: Elevators hard to get into with so many people along with many not going to 17th floor
Recommended: Yes
Great for the young at heart as there is lots of walking back and forth to Aft and Forward!

Cruise was fantastic. It had something for everyone in our family. Ages ranging from 14 years to Grandparents. It was the first time for 5 of the 12 people in our family. My grand daughter said “grandma can we do this next year”. A fun trip and the excursions were VERY fun.

Pros: The ship was amazing. The food was fantastic, especially in the main dining room! The oceanview balcony rooms were spacious and comfortable. The ship had a lot of amenities. The staff was very friendly and the dinner waiters were fantastic and we miss them!
Cons: The pool areas are difficult to find seating in. The water slides were slow and some people got stuck. We would have liked a little more frequency in the shows and movies.

Pros: Lots of water activities, good food, attentive staff, CoCo Caye is beautiful, larger balcony rooms with plenty of storage
Cons: Not enough elevators, on board ship activities are limited and not the large space to hold activities

Wonder of the Seas valentines cruise
February
Pros:
Cons:

Ship was beautiful. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Ship was very clean and despite the number of people on the ship the way it is designed you never feel like anything is over crowded. Never had any issues with finding chairs at the pool, and always was able to find available hot tub space. The solarium adults only area was also a huge plus. Royal Caribbean does an excellent job with how they manage things on the ship.
Top Notch Cruise
February
Pros: beautiful well maintained ship, very hospitable staff, numerous options for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Cons: very busy elevators at dining times
Recommended: Yes
We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed our cruise immensely. Everything from initial boarding to stopping in various ports, to final disembarking flowed smoothly without hiccup. We never ran out of things to see or do aboard Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas. The ship staff we encountered were not only helpful, but also cheerful. Service was excellent. We look forward to our next adventure with Royal Caribbean.
Large & Loud
February
Pros: Good food, clean, friendly staff, comfortable room
Cons: Very loud & very crowded
Recommended: No
Beautiful ship but it's very crowded. The dining room was so noisy we couldn't hear the person talking across the table. Very busy & always waiting. Crowded into elevators, lines in dining room & the ports are back to back people. We did manage to figure out the best times to get a coffee, go to the Windjammer & get to the ports early. And it's loud. Everywhere you go there is loud music playing & we couldn't find a quiet place to eat or have a coffee where you could talk. We always liked the dining room to catch up with friends in the evening after excursions, but not here. It's so loud you can hardly hear each other. I know lots of people don't care about the crowds & like the music but it was just not for us.
We had a great trip & made the best of everything, but we will not be going again.
Not the best fit for seniors
January
Pros: Outstanding ship for families and grandchildren. Good shows.
Cons: Not impressed with The Attic. The warning was not adequate for the multiple uses of “F” bombs.
Recommended: Yes
Wonderful experience for families with children and grandchildren.
Staff was outstanding from top to bottom.
The adult content rating for The Attic was understated.
The one “comics” use of multiple “F” bombs every sentence is uncalled for at any level. Adult comedy is fine but not the way it was delivered.
My first cruise experience
January
Pros: Loved the attention given by staff
Cons: Too many kids running around

Loved it

Best Boat Ever
November
Pros: The size of the boat, the entertainment, the Staff
Cons: Not much….
Recommended: Yes
The boat was huge and amazing and wonderful! I stayed in a balcony suite facing Central Park, and the room was spacious and had plenty of storage for my wife and I. The bathroom in our stateroom was perfect size, too. The amenities were great and there was plenty to do! All of the bathrooms were so clean and they were clean ALL THE TIME. The ship was in excellent condition and nothing was broken. Ok this cruise now!!
1st time cruising
October
Pros: Service
Cons: Entertainment times
Recommended: Yes
The staff was great. Melvin the head waiter, Severiano (waiter) and Jazibe (asst) waiter couldn’t do enough. Cabin staff Cadiz was on top of things. It’s a good feeling when the staff calls you by name. Food was good. Need more entertainment for kids under 17 years of age. Need more shows in the afternoon. The staff was also pleasant. The internet was giving us a problem, not worth the money. Need more entertainment.

Fun for family
April
Pros: Excellent service. Lots of activities for all ages.
Cons: Smoking allowed on Starboard side was too much! Casino reeked of smoke even on the nonsmoking side. Even the area outside of casino smelled really strong.

The cabin steward only comes once a day now.
We were on this same ship in January and that was not the case then.

Bigger Not Always Better
December
Pros: Brand New spit and polish
Cons: Just Too Crowded
Recommended: No
Something’s don’t scale up proportionally. Elevators, rooms per steward, tables per wait staff, trams at ports among other things. So there were chronic people jams at trams and elevators and on the promenade. Also you can scale up staffing but not necessarily the training needed to do the job needed. Our room steward was clearly new to his job. He couldn’t figure out how to work around our schedule even when we told him in advance. Our assistant waiter had just been promoted. As it turned out he could handle it. If he sticks it out he will be a fine server.
We never did eat breakfast in the main dining room. On the one hand. The app said only continental fare but we heard anecdotal stories of full breakfast. The main dining room was another odd thing. The classics weren’t that good but the rotation entrées weren’t always good. They had trouble with chicken breast being too dry. Steaks were overdone on several occasions. Same with lamb shanks. The entrees looked good on the plate but the proof is in the pudding. I’m used to main dining entrees being nearly sublime. Here, workmanlike at best. At least not what i would have expected of the flagship of the fleet.
Speaking of the app, really unintuitive. No matter how you search you’re always left with incomplete information. By the time you find something and where it is and when, you discover it is sold out for the entire cruise.
I love to cruise. Give me great dining. Some entertainment and a chair with an ocean view I’m generally happy. Not hard to please at all. But this was too much mid town Manhattan and too little Central Park. I’ve been to the ports many times. I was there to bathe in the luster of the ship. Always behind some tall guy with a hat though. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not being negative. I enjoyed being away and the warm but it could have been so much more.
Lots of Growing pains

Overall a great trip with great friends, great travel agents and beautiful Ship
Maiden Florida sailing for wonder of the seas
November
Pros: Nicely laid out, plenty of chairs for pool and more seating in windjammer
Cons: New staff that was not properly trained, no longer has crown royal on the drink package, ran out of certain foods, only 20% of the wine menu was available, ran out of silverware in certain food settings. Traffic getting into the port was horrible and took over an hour of sitting at one red light. Ship sailed two hours late so did not have a sail away party.

Loved the cruise and the ship was simply amazing. First time having an ocean view balcony and will never get anything less in the future. The staff was top notch - friendly, helpful, simply a pleasure to chat with. Did not want it to end!
Wow,wow, wow!!!
April
Pros: Entertainment, specialty restaurants, Central Park, staff
Cons: No really any
Recommended: Yes
This ship was almost perfect. When we had a small problem it was repaired immediately. Love the specialty restaurants surrounding Central Park. The Aqua show (water show) is always great. The ice skating show was full of former Olympians. The main shows were really good & there was another show place. Live country music in their Mason Jar restaurant was fun. Wonderland restaurant with Alice in Wonderland theme characters milling around was unique. Those large ships never feel crowded. The large amount of days at sea were never boring. Lots of live music & activities.

April
Pros: So much to see and do!
Cons: Are there any?
Recommended: Yes
We (3 adults: 28, 61, 65) had such a blast on Wonder! After the embarkation day crowds get settled there's so much to see and do that it all just flows...wonderfully! The customer service is so outstanding that you just feel at home and pampered immediately. If you're going, be sure to try the new Mason Jar restaurant - amazing twists on southern food. The band in the Mason Jar bar was outstanding too. For us, as an all adult group, we just loved the HUGE Solarium - ages 16+ only. The entertainment on board all around was incredible - and a great parade too! We can't wait to get back on Wonder in the Mediterranean this summer.
