Perfection!
July
Pros: Fabulous ship in every day - incredible staff, amazing food, gorgeous decor and indoor/outdoor spaces, great cabin - a delightful experience
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
We were on a one week Seward to Vancouver trip -this is a perfect ship. We took the silversea bus to embark in Seward. Every step is seamless, no lines or endless waiting for your cabin to be ready. Two days were at sea ( glacier day and inside passage day). I especially liked the new port Klawock where we did a great tour "a taste of klawock" that was a highlight. The cabins ( deluxe veranda) are stunning, lots of drawer space and a much bigger than expected bathroom with amazing water pressure and big towels. The food- simply wonderful, no matter which of the many options we chose. The staff is also fabulous - best cruise we have ever taken!

Alaska - Seward to Vancouver
June
Pros: Refined, Luxurious, and elegant without feeling stuffy
Cons: The food was good, but NOT great.
Recommended: No
The Service was exceptional, as expected with Silversea, but it still managed to exceed my expectations. Staff members were attentive without being overbearing, and the onboard atmosphere struck a balance of being classy without feeling stuffy. My Medallion Suite was a true highlight for me. I loved the space, layout, and overall comfort, making it feel like a true retreat. Having sailed on several other luxury cruise ships and lines, I can confidently say that the Nova ranks near the top for me in terms of style, service and comfort. Silversea has created something special with this ship!

Bucket list adventure
May
Pros: Beautiful ship ; terrific itinerary; thoughtful shore excursions; wonderful evening shows
Cons: Other than La Terraza food was hit or miss especially the steaks
Recommended: Yes
Charan and John Carlo ,butler and suite attendant, were fabulous- personable, attentive, and accommodating. One young woman at food venue on level 4 was a true anomaly-glowered,chastised her co-workers, and was truly not representative of all the other staff I encountered.

Japan 2025
March
Pros: We were so excited about going on a new luxury ship especially after seeing all the videos. The ship was beautiful and very spacious. The cabin had the most storage on any ship we have traveled on, The Bathroom was large and spacious,
Cons: In general, the food was just OK. This was a big disappointment. We were a group of eight and the maître d' was not always accommodating. The best eating experience was at the Silver Note. We were only able to get 1 reservation. We felt that the buffet display and design was terrible. We had difficulty reaching the food items. In the theatre we could only see the dancers from the waist up. Bar service was minimal. The internet was the worst. They offered a premium service for a charge which we thought was being cheap for a luxury line.

First Silversea experience
March
Pros: Very new and updated ship. Great staff. Lots of dining options
Cons: Main entertainment venue was small and the enter overall was fair
Recommended: Yes
This was a great trip on a Great boat. A different design concept that was overall very nice. Only areas I didn’t care for was the non-Silversea entertainment brought on board early we’re not good. The main restaurant. Atlantis was just ok. Many dining options and at dinner time, all need reservations with the exception of Atlantide and the SALT restaurant. Staff was great!

A Luxurious Alaskan Adventure Aboard the Silver Nova
August
Pros: New ship, beautiful public spaces arranged in a thoughtful layout, Glass elevators facing the ocean.
Cons: Upcharge for La Dame, Kaiseki and Champagne bar (Shelter)
Recommended: No
The Ship: Silver Nova The Silver Nova is a masterpiece of modern cruise ship design. With a capacity for 728 guests, the ship offers an intimate and personalized experience. The public areas are tastefully decorated, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. My suite was spacious and elegantly appointed, with a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the Alaskan wilderness. The Itinerary: Alaska Our 7-day journey took us through some of Alaska's most stunning landscapes. We sailed through the inside passage and explored the charming towns of Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Sitka. Each port of call offered a unique perspective on Alaska's rich history, culture, and natural beauty.
