May cruise in Japan

Pros: a good look at "back country" that most tourists never see
Cons: most of the local tour guides talked too much - not well trained.
Recommended: Yes
My third Ponant cruise. the ship and its staff were outstanding. Smithsonian staff people were also excellent.
