Good food, GREAT service and care
August
Pros: You get to see a lot of things. They take GREAT care of you. The food is good and plentiful
Cons: Like all tours, you have limited time during excursions. The food was plentiful, but not what I might have expected with a chef onboard
Recommended: Yes
It was our first cruise, and though we might do another one, we like doing things a bit more spontaneously, and being able to eat locally and spend as much time as we would like to in places. Don't get me wrong, Viking worked very hard to make it awesome, just not sure it fits our style. The excursions were fun, just too fast.

A Trip Every American Should Put On Their Bucket List
August
Pros: Well organized itinerary with professional tour guides
Cons: Cannot guarantee the great weather we enjoyed
Recommended: Yes
We have been on many cruises and this was one of the best! From a walking tour of Paris to the Cemetary at Normandy, we experienced a fantastic review of history and extraordinary sites. The tour guides were all fantastic and the experience on the riverboat was outstanding. We should have upgraded our stateroom, but we chose to be next to our good friends. The meals were excellent with a wide selection. Our servers were top notch and entertaining. The flight went without a hitch and the transfers excellent without a single hitch. A great vacation and one every one should enjoy!

Whole purpose of trip was to see battlefield at Normandy, guide missed everything important, 4.5 hours on bus for disappointment.

First Riverboat Cruise
September
Pros: Fantastic service, great food, and nice tours.
Cons: Long flight and time difference
Recommended: Yes
Tours were much too long with too much unnecessary information provided! Would have preferred more personal time on our own to shop and explore. It was very difficult to interpret our tour guides because of strong French accents. The Palace of Versailles was extremely crowded and the tour guide's explanation of each room was much too long, leaving little time or energy left to tour the gardens.

Paris to Normandy Seine River
November
Pros: The level of service, food, program director, included excursions.
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
The dining room and stateroom service was excellent as was the food. The program director was extremely knowledgeable and the included excursions were excellent. Everything was done on time. There we even little extras like small appetizers served before dinner. All in all, an excellent crew, ship and cruise experience.

Beautiful vacation
April
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Recommended: Yes
Paris to Normandy aboard Viking Fjorgyn is a must! From the minute we stepped on to on to the Fjorgyn, it was smooth sailing. All of the crew were so welcoming and genuinely made you feel at home. We had daily Covid screenings and every crew member wore masks the entire cruise. Our health and safety were a priority. Brenton was our cruise director and was extremely personable and helpful. He created an atmosphere of warmth amongst the guests. Brenton made our visit to Normandy one of the most memorable and moving experiences of our cruise. He shared a personal memory of his grandfather bringing us all to tears. This is our third Viking River Boat vacation and the first time meeting our cruise director and feeling like you made a friend. This cruise was a perfect re-entry into traveling again.
