A summary about the ship Beyond
June
Pros: a beautiful ship with great sculptures, paintings and decor. The service was exceptional.
Cons: Like in all of the other ships the daily announcements by the captain could not be heard in some of the locations.
Recommended: Yes
The evening shows were the Best we have ever seen.
ABC Cruise
May
Pros: Absolutly beautiful ship. Great food, great entertainment, great service
Cons: Ship has a lot of steps, so if you are limited in walking, take this into consideration
Recommended: Yes
Would sail on again or any of the Edge class ships
Perfect get away
January
Pros: minimal children. 4 main dining rooms
Cons: buffet too crazy. ports were less than exciting (cozumel, bimini)
Recommended: Yes
First cruise on Celebrity. Beyond is a beautiful ship. Many other passengers I talked to had been on other cruises and agreed, this was a great choice of ships. Not the loud, craziness by the pool but if you are wanting a nice, almost quiet trip with minimal children this is for you. Food was fantastic.
Best cruise experience ever!
December
Pros: The Celebrity Beyond ship is very well designed with an exceptionally organized and friendly crew. Every detail is important. The food is excellent, the staff are kind and patient, the excursions are well planned and fun, and the ship is very clean!
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
The Panama Canal and Southern Caribbean cruise was absolutely wonderful! 10 out of 10! I would go again tomorrow.
Wonderful
December
Pros: Dining, activities, spa, and Beyond personnel were great.
Cons: Disembarking was not smooth.
Recommended: Yes
We would sail on Celebrity Cruises always.
Awesome Trip and Ship
August
Pros: Clean and Great Staff
Cons: The drink service at dinner at regular restaurant was slow.
Recommended: Yes
It was a great trip and the ship is incredible. Food was great. Loved Fine Cut and Rooftop Garden Grill. Overall, great trip!!!
Beautiful new ship has it all
July
Pros: Outside veranda stateroom views especially at sunrise and sunset! Amazing ports and excursions offered. Onboard activities for everyone. So many restaurant choices with great food and drinks. Friendly staff and the best service. Fabulous entertainment options, shows, productions, music, comedians and magicians. Big enough ship you can find space to relax alone or with friends.
Cons: The only con was when the cruise ended - it went so quickly.
Recommended: Yes
We loved the option of having flights, transfers and the cruise organized through Celebrity because it gave us extra peace of mind knowing that their guarantee came with the booking. As soon as we stepped off the airplane in Rome we were greeted and taken care of by a Celebrity representative. Boarding and living on this all-inclusive hotel at sea for ten nights/eleven days is the best vacation offering anything you would ever want… relaxation & spa time, exercise, pools & jacuzzis, entertainment, so much food & so many drink options, views with sunrises & sunsets, waking up each morning somewhere new and exciting with excursion opportunities & on board activities for everyone. It’s an experience and an adventure and the best way to make forever memories!
11 Night Italy Turkey Greece Island
June
Pros: All staff was well trained and knew their roles and expectations
Cons: The 1st port in Sicily was closed to us. Was really looking forward to exploring the area. When we stopped in Istanbul Turkey it was their holy days. Lots of additional congestion in an already congested area. Maybe avoid scheduling sailings during this time
Recommended: Yes
Our stateroom attendant Jowie was phenomenal. Always a greeting, smile and very attentive.
We had questions regarding excursions and Aneen was exceptional.
Too Big by One-Half
June
Pros: Good service
Cons: Limited menus in restaurants, poor room layout, not all expected stateroom ammenities
Recommended: No
Very nice ship, but just too big for me. The select dining worked well, but the menus in the four dining rooms were limited and unchanging. The stateroom lacked expected amenities -- slippers, hairdryer, stationary, pen. Ship's shore excursion didn't match descriptions. Shore excursions best described as long bus rides with limited time at destination.
Celebrity Beyond and Leisure Travel Enterprises (LTE)
June
Pros: Every element of the trip was wonderful
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
The entire trip was exceptionally well planned and flawlessly executed. The entire staff was superb, and the service always exceeded our expectations. Leisure Travel Enterprises (LTE) and notably, Briana was incredible, and they get my highest compliments for professional service. Without question, I would use them again and recommend them to others.
14 day transatlantic
April
Pros: Length, food, room, employees, activities, excursions
Cons: Post cruise travel arrangements and not seeing Azores
Recommended: Yes
We had a great time. Our concierge, Alexander, did an outstanding job making us feel comfortable and cared for. Another stand out is Jorge who greeted and helped passengers in the main dining. My all time favorite dining was at Garden top Grill. 5 stars to everyone there!!!
excellent voyage for all ages
March
Pros: superb dining in Blu, very friendly, personable crew
Cons: lack of sundrie/apothecary shop for personal health items
Recommended: Yes
We did not dine in the four main dining rooms. The experience in the Blu dining room was wonderful. Great activities director Luigi and Captain Kate.
Varied age range of cruisers.
Excellent staterooms in Aquaclass.
Mixed response re: infinate verandah concept. Might prefer old fashioned balcony.
Our first cruise
March
Pros: Everything
Cons: zilch
Recommended: Yes
Placid seas; endless sunshine; superb, creative cuisine; outstanding entertainment, pampered service from every single member of the crew; stunning, tasteful architecture and furnishings; breathtaking visit to Tulum; access to the many luxurious amenities of the Retreat; we could not have asked for more.
Celebrity Beyond 7 night Caribbean Cruise
February
Pros: Love Ship, Suite Class Amazing, great food
Cons: Cabin was noisy on sea nights, ports of call were nothing special
Recommended: Yes
The Ship was the destination.
Staff was amazing, food in luminae was fabulous, as was Eden.
Suite accommodations were fabulous, spacious room, large bathroom.
Only attended 3 shows, entertainment could be better, would love a off Broadway musical as a option one night.
Ship overall is gorgeous. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We sailed on a ship with 3100 people and it never felt crowded.
Outstanding Everything
February
Pros: Beautiful ship and accommodations. Good food! Great drinks! Almost exclusively adults. Great onboard shopping.
Cons: We brought too many clothes. Port time went too fast!
Recommended: Yes
Our first cruise - a fabulous experience! Feel like we started at the top of cruise lines! Can’t wait to cruise again.
Beyond Celebrity
February
Pros: Beautiful, ornate ship; friendly, upbeat staff; fantastic Captain Kate, great drinks, excellent entertainment
Cons: Food was delicious, but missed the extra entrees that use to be available every night!
Recommended: Yes
Beautiful suite, Retreat, and Luminaii Restaurant!
Also, Jerome was extremely helpful at Customer Service!!
Not the Celebrity that we are used to
January
Pros: The theater was spectacular and the production shows took full advantage of the multimedia capabilities. We loved the infinite veranda - especially at night with the window open.
Cons: The food quality and selection was not up to the standards that we have previously experienced on Celebrity. Did not like that there were only three unique entree options each night. The music played in the Grand Foyer area was way too loud to have an enjoyable evening. Conversations were not possible.
Recommended: No
We have sailed on Celebrity many times in the past. Unfortunately, on this ship it seemed like the entire vibe was different. I am hoping that this pertains to just this ship or the Edge class of ships and the rest of the fleet is as we remember it.
cruise to St. Maarten/ St. Thomas /Puerto Plata
January
Pros: staff was excellent/ food was good
Cons: small closet / house wine could have been better
Recommended: Yes
we had a good time, everything well planned.
Review of The Beyond
January
Pros: Service was great. Beautiful ship.Nice size cabins. The shows and entertainment were excellent.
Cons: Lack of variety at dinner. Food was mediocre. Prefer a real balcony to the veranda.
Recommended: No
I don't understand why they have 4 main restaurants withe almost the exact same menu every night. If there are a few items you don't like or if you have a dietary restriction, you end up eating the same thing night after night. The buffet at dinner was lacking. Only half the stations were open.
The infinite veranda was just a fancy name for a window that opens half way from the top. No ability to actually go outside.
January 2023 Beyond Review
January
Pros: Temperature in public spaces was very comfortable. Theatre entertainment was excellent.
Cons: Infinite balcony room —— opening window is controlled by the bridge and will not always open when you want it open; safe is inconvenient and hard to use, toilet tissue is way too thin; TV selections are very limited; lack of electrical outlets on a new ship.
Recommended: No
No maps of the ports are available. Outdoor venue for daily movies does not have much shade or any cover from rain. Unable to make standing reservations for time and table in main dining room. Specialty restaurants are very pricey.
Beyond in december
December
Pros: Stunning ship. Sculptures and wall hangings beautiful. Four ethnic restaurants a real treat. Crew very nice. Cabin beautiful. Theatre very special.
Cons: Specialty coffees in cafe AL bacio inconsistent. Would have appreciated classical music on board and in cabin on TV channel.
Recommended: Yes
A very special ship. Walking track varied and interesting. Best prime rib I ever had. Beautiful cruise ship. A feast for the eyes.
Beyond belief
October
Pros: Entertainment
Cons: Stateroom
Recommended: Yes
Best entertainment I ever saw on a cruise ship. State of the art theatre and 3 mind blowing production shows. Amazing pianist, magician and a comedian that was actually funny. Not a fan of the stateroom with what is supposed to be a balcony but is really an extension of the room with French doors and a window that opens buts cuts the ac when opened a crack. Also storage is limited with maybe 6 inches between the bed and closet. Food excellent although menus are not that extensive. Plenty of seating in buffet as well. Embarkation very easy. Ship mammoth but tasteful and not built as a quasi amusement park or shopping mall. Some staff new and experienced. The male captain was part of 2 theatre experiences and was incredibly funny. The new female captain was actually a passenger but appeared on stage in a trivia contest with and about her cat bug naked.
Beyond our Expectations
September
Pros: Beautiful accomadations, start of the art technology with enhanced wi-fi. Outstanding entertainment, food and customer service.
Cons:
Recommended: Yes
A beautiful ship that is well appointed. Excellent crew. Enjoyed entertainment every evening. Food in main dining rooms was fresh and well prepared.
Amazing ship
August
Pros: Service fabulous
Cons: Needs more servers for drinks in all bars and cafe
Recommended: Yes
The ship is incredible and staff wonderful ! Best entertainment that I have ever experienced on any ship
Beyond is the key word
June
Pros: Treated like a VIP
Cons: Poor service of airline
Recommended: Yes
Our vacation was so incredible and over the top. that it is hard to imagine our future vacations being as enjoyable. From our accommodations to the service, activities and excellent food, to the breathtaking ports of call we visited, our vacation was truly like living a dream
