Viking Venus cruise Feb 20-March 8, 2025 was a once in a lifetime experience. The ship’s staff is fantastic. Food choices were delicious. Especially appreciated their efforts to provide delicious gluten free options. Stateroom was beautifully maintained. Really enjoyed the nights the upper deck lights were turned off so we could star gaze. Enrichment speakers provided an additional level of appreciation for what we experienced on excursions.

Cons: Thought this cruise versus Mediterranean cruise regarding food was not as good

As always staff was great particularly the house keeping team - we did have a problem with our patio door that malfunctioned that created a loud wind sound that interrupted our sleep - Maintenance did try twice to fix but to not avail - so they moved us to a different room but allowed us to keep access the our first room so we did not have to move all our things. While we appreciated the move it did complicate the last few days off our voyage.

Cons: Cost of trip. Not seeing Aurora B. And taking two days of travel to board ship just before it left Bergen.

A great trip. Viking and our agent worked hard to change our reservation to get us to Norway. Best staff on any Viking cruise ever. Fantastic time despite not seeing “ Lights “ and travel problems.

Pros: Ship is exceptional outfitted, staff is professional and very friendly, making the entire experience refreshing and enjoyable

Cons: Not Vikings fault but the planned destination of Israel was cancelled due to the War. However the additional destination of Malta was very enjoyable.

Expeditions provided by Viking were informative, and for the most part enjoyable.

Wonderful trip as always. Love the small ships. The crew & staff are amazing. They are always happy & greeting the passengers. The our cabin was spotless with nice fluffy pillows. I made a comment to my steward that I was coming down with a cold. He put on a new pillow case for me. He also noticed I had a Cpap machine. He said he would make sure I had distilled water every day. I have gluten intolerance. The dining staff made sure to ensure my concerns were met & seemed happy to make them come true. I love Viking!!

We couldn't be more pleased with our on board experience aboard the Viking Venus. We did feel most of the included tours were centered on bus rides around and through the cities. We would have preferred to have more tours focused on nature and walks and hiking and being outdoors. Museums and shopping are nice, but not every day when you want to experience the essence of another country.

Pros: Quality of the ship and the high level service of the staff is the best anywhere.

Cons: A number of excursions had changes to the planned itinerary with short notice, but these changes may have been out of the control of Viking.

We spent 4 weeks on the Venus (Two trips taken back to back) and had a great time.
