Pros: 2 bathroom in my cabins

Cons: My grands didn't enjoy the child care. The food wasn't that great for dinner.

Marti Gra was hard to top. It was my favorite ship. Horizon entertainment wasn't as good either. I don't wanna get back on this ship. The posts were great stops.

Most vacationers didn’t understand the elevator system. Embarkation day our elevator bank was used for luggage and we had to find a housekeeper staff to get to deck 14 (our cabin). There were enough places for the over 4500 people to relax and we never felt crowded. The kids water park was great. Being older & mobility challenged, I found a lot of the furniture too low. Ma

Cons: Getting back from port at Cayman Island was chaotic and elderly and handicapp shouldn’t have to wait in that long line in extreme heat, white party was what I expected, food wasn’t that great, took too long to get a drink

Cons: The food in the dining room was very small portions. After we ate we went to the buffet to get filled up.

There was a lot of noisy people. There was a fight on our floor. Getting off the ship wasn’t too bad. I’m done with Carnival. They use to have a great reputation but it has gone downhill.

Nice ship, but does show its age a little. Items that needed attention were quickly resolved by crew members. Plenty to do for 2 days while on the water. Crew was wonderful and attentive, but they need more people to fill drink orders. Dinning staff was great and a joy to have around. Very attentive to your dinner needs. Overall a great time and we would go on this ship again.

There were so many different options for kids and families on this ship and very little for adults only. Most of the time the adult area was shut down due to wind and lack of an adult pool. When you spend over a thousand dollars on a drink package and then have to worry about getting pool water splashed into every drink, it's a little frustrating. More areas are needed for just adults.

Carnival Horizon - Halloween Cruise 2019

A new ship full of modern innovations. The elevators are good in theory but were time consuming. The Pixel Studios replaced the Photo Gallery and everything was digital. You logged in and printed or not. What a saving of the thousands of pictures that got dumped after each cruise. Lots of groups, I met guest who do this cruise every year. Dining options multiple and most included. Be sure to try the Blue Iguana Cantina on embarkation day as an option to the buffet. If you reserve any of the cabins in the Havana area be sure to check the size of the cabin. The interior cabins are very small. The Havana Pool is not very crowded and has plenty of seating. Our interior cabin backed up to the Havana Club entrance and was fairly soundproof. Good use of the central Atrium. They had some sort of entertainment every night from Motown Night to Halloween Parades. You could enjoy from all three levels.

Really don’t have anything bad to say about ship. The thermal suite area was small, it was crowded on some days. Loved my room stewards - Ni and Juneui ( I’m sure I spelled his name wrong)

Pros: New ship with all the bells & whistles. Everything works. There is so much to do you never get bored. The crew are "extremely" helpful and the entertainment is top notch. Food is excellent as well.

Cons: The Lido deck (main deck with the largest pool) can get a little loud at times. But they do have much quiter locations in the front & back of the ship, and do a good job of shielidng the noise. Also, these staterooms were comfortable, but did get a little warm in the wee hours of the morning - we found ourselved lowering the thermostat.

We traveled with some friends who cruise between 3 & 4 times a year, and they indicated that Carnival has definitely stepped up their game. They said the entertainment on this cruise rivalled that of many of the more expensive cruise lines - although being a larger ship does give them a larger budget for entertaining. But they "spent it" well. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
