Birthday Celebration

Pros: Very organized, good entertainment, and the hub was very helpful.
Cons:
Recommended: Yes
My husband and I had a wonderful time on the ship and Passion Island excursion. We were very impressed with the organization. It was not chaotic, very clean, staff were very friendly, helpful, and respectful. We have recommended it to all our family and friends! We can’t wait to book another trip.

Absolutely loved my 1st cruise adventure. Would really love to see a laying pool on the Serenity Deck. During the summer it is just too hot to sit outside in the hot tub. The food was amazing, the service superb, cleanliness was on point. Will definitely travel again soon

4th time cruiser
June
Pros: Lots of daytime activities, great food, service was above top notch, lots of comedy shows
Cons: Lots of comedy was in a small space only 2 shows in the main theatre, only 2 main nighttime shows
Recommended: Yes
Carnival used to have a big production show every night. They only had 2 this trip. I love the comedy but most of the shows were in a small club in the back. If your not having big production shows at least have comedy shows in the big theatre. But all in all we had a blast as always. Just things have changed since COVID I guess

Not the best
April
Pros: The food was great. Debarking was nice when we returned home
Cons: Where do I start. First night dinner service terrible. Took 1 1/2 hours to get done in that span no one ask for drink refills. But I guess asking for the manager several times got the point across because the rest of the trip was the way it is supposed to be. Once again couldn’t get off at one of our Ports of Call. The third time via a Carnival Ship very disappointing. The room wasn’t very clean and it was rough condition dents and marks all over the walls. TV channels used to have decent tv channels in case we got stuck in from weather or whatever, but now channel selection is terrible. Kids and teenagers all over the place sitting in the staircase and halls and not willing to move if you come down their direction.probably last Carnival cruise even though we have been on several.
Recommended: No
Probably last time cruising Carnival.

It was a Breeze!
July
Pros: Updated interior, super friendly and helpful staff, so many food choices!
Cons: Galveston port is unorganized embarking and disembarking compared to other ports I’ve been in. There was a ghost elevator that was never fixed…it just did what it wanted.
Recommended: Yes
Beautiful ship! Cozumel was great, I could skip Costa Maya, they are extremely overpriced and overcrowded. The MDR food was okay, but the servers made it great. The area around Mongolian Wok would make everyone cough from the hot chili sauce they’re cooking, it needs vents to take that up instead out into the buffet area. Also, seems like Carnival has started nickel and diming you for everything on the ship when other cruise lines offer those “extras” at no extra charge. For example, the Cheers package cannot be used on day 1, it starts on day 2 at 6am, so you have to pay out of packet for alcohol, sodas, bottled water, specialty coffees on day 1. I still prefer NCL.

November
Pros: Cleanliness, Food Quality and Variety, Cruise Director
Cons: Stage Show Leads, No Pickleball, Odd arrival time in Costa Maya
Recommended: Yes
Debarkation was slower than usual, but it was beyond staff control. They kept us well informed. Food was great, especially dining room and Sweet Spot on Lido. Ship needs pickleball, with scheduled times daily, ASAP. VERY friendly and accommodating staff!
