Marvelous Sailing from Lisbon to Málaga

May

Pros: Beautiful ship, sails up, first class

Cons:

Recommended: Yes

We enjoyed a magical cruise and beautiful ports. No entertainment like big cruise ships-we did not need it. We met many new friends, and the days and nights were full enough. Climbed the rigging, hoisted a sail, toasted our victories.

Caribbean Windward Islands

January

Pros: Sailing majority of travel time

Cons: no little refrigerator in cabin, limited time in ports.

Recommended: Yes

The Royal Clipper is a "Sailing Passenger Vessel", currently worldwide there are about 50 such ships. The Royal Clipper is the largest of them. The "Windward Island" cruise has the best chance of sailing the majority of time. We were under sail about 80% of the time. You will feel the ocean movements much more than on a large cruise ship.
