Great week
May
Pros: Staff and Cleanliness
Cons: Some weak excursions
Recommended: Yes
Read excursion descriptions carefully and choose time on your own when in doubt. Wine master class, chateaux dinner, and visit to Bordeaux market with Chef were high points.

Forseti Rocks
August
Pros: Fantastic staff, each and every one! Amazing food!
Cons: Limitations of travel on tidal rivers. A few long walks to coaches from the ship.
Recommended: Yes
I have enjoyed all three of my Viking river trips. This particular staff exceeded the consistently high level of Viking standards. The food was amazing! There were no questions that went without answers, which indicates an excellent staff training program. The personnel were flexible and very aware of your needs before you could even articulate them. The amount of knowledge of the geographical region and the humor and stagecraft of the delivery in the public sessions was awesome. Thank you for another, and possibly the best, cruise.

Pros: The food was incredable and the staff was exceptional. The excursions were great.
Cons: The stateroom was very small, especially the shower.
Recommended: Yes
The cruise was more enjoyable than we anticipated, which is saying something. A great way to celebrate our 49th anniversary.

June
Pros: Everything but the food and wine was great
Cons: Food and wine
Recommended: Yes
Staff was the best we have ever encountered. Food and wine were lacking. Ship was perfect. Would have preferred a later dinner seating than 7'pm for everyone.

Our cruise in the Wine Country of France
May
Pros: The size of the ship and the number of people
Cons:
Recommended: Yes
This cruise was just perfect. We really enjoyed the quiet cruising down the rivers. There were only 186 people (not including the staff). We were able to become friendly with most. The included outings are very nice and the guides are great. They are very knowledgeable. We must give the staff on the ship the highest ratings, from the cruise director, to the chef, the the housekeepng staff. They were the best.

Pros: Extraordinary staff, fabulous food, great excursions, good accommodations
Cons: Nothing
Recommended: Yes
Loved all aspects of the trip. Bit of advice is that you must enjoy wine to do this area. Not scenic like Danube or Rhine.
