wonderful time
October
Pros: Ship in excellent condition. Food was great. Staff were exceptional.
Cons: Ten days is a long time for us to travel.
Recommended: Yes
I would recommend Cruise Oceania-Marina to anyone. Everything was almost perfect. There was always something to do. The staff were exceptional. Always very professional, kind and willing to help us in any way. The food was wonderful and we were never hungry. I would use this cruise line if I ever decide to cruise again.

Pros: refurbished ship, clean, fresh
Cons: Terrace cafe and waves cafe-food was not hot when served
Recommended: Yes
Generally a very nice cruise We were pleased with the cabin and staff was very good and accomodating. We were disappointed with a couple of the excursions that we paid for: La Coruna- not worth it- guide was too soft spoken- hard to hear and not much information- dropped us off at the Hercules site- it was closed- he did not escort us up there and give explanations- just enough time to walk up a long walk , take a picture and come back to bus- drove along coast- saw lots of grafitti, short loop through town- then stopped bus- gave us a choice to follow him on a walking tour - we walked back to ship - disappointing. Bilbao- too short of a stop to spend time there- had to get a cab back to the ship ( expensive) because the bus driver parked so far from the museum - we didn't have time after the tour to walk all of the way back there. Paris- very expensivetour- we enjoyed seeing the city for the first time, but because so many streets were closed for the Olympics, we spent too much time sitting in traffic- very unhappy vocal group on our bus (Fatima was guide) - would have liked to know of the Olympic impact ahead of time- may not have gone. 3 hours each way was a lot of bus travel- we only had time to have lunch before we got bck on the bus and came back to the ship - not worth $600+ Would not do excursions next time - enjoyed ourselves more when we went out alone.

First Oceania Cruise
June
Pros: The food and the lack of crowds
Cons: No ice near the water stations
Recommended: Yes
My friend and I just got back from our first Oceania cruise - my second cruise and her first cruise ever - and we had a great time. The beds were incredibly comfortable, loved the rain shower head and good sized bathroom, friendly crew, cleanliness of ship (other than the outside of the windows in the public areas, which I'm sure is difficult to clean regularly), itinerary was great, all of our excursions were worth the time and money.... So many positive things. We had the best time and would definitely recommend the cruise line and ship to friends. We did not do any of the entertainment or on-board activities, so that's the only thing I can't speak to.

February
Pros: Great itinerary, wonderful staff, good food, steam room
Cons: Only 2 US plugs/room, unreliable internet, would have liked more educational programs around ports we visited.
Recommended: Yes
We were so fortunate to have mostly good weather, especially while in Antarctica and Patagonia. Staff on the entire ship were always friendly and helpful. It was a great voyage!
