Good Expedition
March
Pros: Fast deployment of zodiacs for excursions
Cons: Helicopter sightseeing and excursions tied up the ship for long periods resulting in all passengers sitting around for hours.
Recommended: Yes
It would have been better for have zodiac excursions during the optional helicopter landing rather than sitting on the ship for 5 hours with nothing to do. Understand that this is not a cruise ship. The entertainment consists of technical presentations by scientists and "bar talks" about interesting experiences of the expedition staff.
