Seabourn Sojourn - Fall Foliage Cruise - New York to Montreal | October 2025
October
Pros: Wonderful itinerary, exceptional staff, superb cuisine, expertly crafted cocktails, intimate, beautifully maintained ship, comfortable and ergonomic staterooms, world-class entertainment, reliable Wi-Fi, a Wi-Fi account for each guest.
Cons: Sea Day programming was not as richly packed with meaningful enrichment as it has been in the past. In-suite entertainment was outdated with small, low-resolution screens and an older selection of movies. On the Sunday which was a sea day, a leisurely brunch would have been an excellent offering. Instead, breakfast was served until just 10:30 AM, which conflicted with the first lecture.

Small Ship Luxury
September
Pros: Small ship means smaller, less visited ports, under 450 passengers means you can be more social and meet most everyone onboard.
Cons: At some ports the ramp to embark/disembark was pretty steep, mostly due to tidal changes. Not sure if they have options to use a lower deck for embark/disembark or not, but the steepness made it hard for mobility impaired folks to get off the ship.

Great Service on Seabourn Sojourn
February
Pros: Service
Cons: The food was hit and miss.

From the stateroom attendants, to every bar and restaurant on the ship, the service was great. The crew were friendly, including the officers. The cruise director was exceptional, and the entertainment was exceptional.

22 Day West African Voyage
January
Pros: The Seabourn Sojourn is a lovely ship, holding less than 450 passengers. The service is impeccable but friendly and all inclusive; the atmosphere is casual and convivial
Cons: Some of the ports were a shuttle bus away from the town or city and the shore excursions tended to be a bit longer than usual because of the distance to interesting sights.
