Ship Overview
A new chapter of exploration unfolds along the pristine shores of Seychelles and Tanzania – where few have ever sailed, and never before in such luxury. We are pleased to introduce the sixth and newest addition to our fleet of expedition ships: Aqua Lares, East Africa's first superyacht to offer both private charters and individual suite bookings. Purpose-built for discovery, our 77-meter floating safari brings the signature Aqua experience to the Indian Ocean, granting unparalleled access to remote destinations, including the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Aldabra and Praslin. Hosting 30 guests and 33 crew across six elegantly designed decks, Aqua Lares features 12 luxurious suites and three twin cabins, with accommodations ranging up to 710 sq. ft — including three generous Owner's Suites. Additionally, guests can enjoy a range of social and wellness spaces, as well as a world-class dining experience celebrating regional flavors. As part of Aqua Lares' all-inclusive experience, embark on twice-daily excursions led by our expert guides. Snorkel and dive at Astove's underwater Grand Canyon, encounter the world's largest population of giant tortoises at Aldabra, and explore the relics of an ancient sultanate on the islands of Zanzibar. Discover the region through a variety of active adventures including kayaking, paddleboarding, fly fishing, and tender excursions. Launching February 2026, Aqua Lares' inaugural sailings feature two one-off expeditions sailing between Seychelles and Madagascar. Following these departures, Aqua Lares will continue exploring the region with 5- and 9-night sailings to Seychelles' Inner and Outer Islands, as well as 10- and 11-night sailings between Seychelles and Tanzania.
