Your introduction to Copenhagen starts with its heart – centuries old buildings surround canals, royal palaces and the spine of Copenhagen which is the pedestrian precinct of “Strøget.” There is an incredible range of architecture within a small area, renaissance, medieval, baroque, Dutch style and the ultra-modern architecture with glass and steel. Your guide will also take you past the world-famous Tivoli Gardens, the inspiration for Walt Disney, before passing Christiansborg Palace, built on the site of the earliest fortifications of the city dating back to 1167, and now the seat of the Danish Parliament.
Roskilde is an old charming city dating back from the Viking age and is located approximately 1 hour drive outside of Copenhagen.
The Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde is the Danish museum for ships, seafaring and boatbuilding culture from ancient and medieval times
The large collection of traditional Nordic wooden boats is berthed at the harbor on Museum Island. Here you will also find the five reconstructions of the Skuldelev ships. Set off on an enjoyable narrated tour to Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød. This elegant Dutch Renaissance structure straddles three small islands and has all the trappings of a fairytale castle, but it was gainfully employed as royal residence and setting for important ceremonial events from the 1600s to the 1850s. It now serves as the National Museum of History and is best known for its outstanding collection of portraits, the largest of its kind in Denmark. Your guided tour begins at the Neptune Fountain and visits the rooms of the King's Wing, the Church, and the impressive Knight's Hall, which boasts an intricate carved wooden ceiling.
Take photos of the Royal Family's summer residence Fredensborg Palace during a brief stop on route.
Heading further north through the picturesque countryside of Northern Zealand, you will find the town of Elsinore. Situated in Elsinore, the magnificent structure Kronborg Castle was chosen by William Shakespeare as the setting for his play, Hamlet. It is a suitably dramatic Renaissance castle, built in 1420 and expanded in the 1500s, situated on the narrow sound between Denmark and Sweden. Kronborg Castle is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site.
Continue back towards Copenhagen along the coastal road. Otherwise known as the Danish Rivera, the coastal road provides a lovely view of the sea between Denmark and Sweden, as well taking you through the fashionable and exclusive residential areas on the outskirts of Copenhagen.

Malmö is Sweden’s third-largest city. Here, Scandinavia's tallest building twists its way skyward, gazing down over the vast Öresund bridge – both modern engineering marvels that reflect multicultural Malmö's progressive outlook.
Focusing on the area around Stortorget (the town square) and lively Lilla Torget (the little square) Malmö's Old Town is a gorgeous warren of cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses.
Located about 2.5km northwest of the Old Town, buzzing, bayside Västra Hamnen represents the modern face of Malmö. It's a popular spot to stroll, sip coffee and browse boutiques, but mostly people come to marvel at the Öresund bridge and the Turning Torso
After Malmö we continue to Lund, founded by the Danes around 1000 AD and once the seat of the largest archbishopric in Europe, Lund is the second-oldest city in Sweden. It's also one of its loveliest, surrounded by beech trees and glowing with an impressive architectural legacy. Its magnificent, medieval old town is centered on its strikingly beautiful cathedral. Radiating around it is the country's oldest, most prestigious university (c 1666). Perhaps ironically, the university keeps Lund young, its vibrant, engaged youth driving a lively arts and culinary scene.

Copenhagen Walking tour in the pursuit of Hygge – 4 Hours
Hygge is as Danish as pork roast and it goes far in illuminating the Danish soul. In essence hygge means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life in the company of good people. The warm glow of candlelight is also hygge. Friends and family – well that’s hygge too.
In the summertime, hygge is spending time in the sun, over a beer at the pier, a picnic in one of the city parks or just hanging out with good friends in one of Copenhagen’s many picturesque and historical back yards.
This 4-hour walking tour will highlight what hygge is all about. The tour starts by exploring the area around the Latin quarters an around the pedestrian street Strøget.
The Latin Quarter is one of the most entertaining areas of Denmark's capital city, with a young-spirited undertone around the vicinity of Copenhagen University. The Latin Quarter is well known for its hang-out spots, alternative shopping and 17th-century architecture.
Part of Danish hygge is having coffee with friends, so we will pick up a cup of coffee to go and a cinnamon roll at Sankt Peders Bakery, Copenhagen oldest bakery which was founded in 1652.
We continue our tour by visiting the church of our Lady. The Copenhagen Cathedral in its present shape is an unpretentious building in Neo-Classicist style designed by the architect C.F. Hansen. It is situated close to the University of Copenhagen. An inside visit to the Round Tower in included. It was built as part of the Trinity Complex, named after the Holy Trinity and designed to accommodate three things: the observatory at the top of the tower, the library on the floor above the Trinity Church and of course the church itself. From its vantage point you will be able to peak into some of Copenhagen’s old, historical and cozy court yards before we head over to the Kings Garden, a popular green spot in the city center.
Basis: Private tourCopenhagen Jewish tour – 4 Hours
Although never large in numbers, the Jews in Denmark have nevertheless had a substantial and important influence on Danish culture and history. The sights on your tour includes The Round Tower with its golden Hebrew inscriptions; the statue of the world famous Danish Jewish Nobel Prize winner, Niels Bohr; and the Trinitatis church where the Torah scrolls from the Copenhagen Synagogue were hidden during the Second World War and were thus saved from destruction.
You will be informed of the present-day Jewish community, its size and the various components that went into its making. The story of the five dark years under Nazi occupation, the deeds of the Danes and their king, Christian X will not be forgotten.
The Danish Jewish Museum, designed by world famous architect Daniel Libeskind, opened in 2004 and is a must-see for anyone interested in the Jews of Denmark. Located in the center of Copenhagen, the museum is a great starting point for exploring Jewish history in Denmark. The museum presents 400 years of Danish Jewish history, including the rescue and deportation of the Danish Jews in 1943. Copenhagen’s main synagogue finished in 1833 is located in Krystalgade (Crystal Street) in the old part of Copenhagen and will be viewed from its exterior during the tour.

Christianshavn & Dragør tour – 4 Hours
Narrow cobbled streets, Michelin-starred restaurants and cozy cafes along the canal. Just across the bridge Knippels Bro is Christianshavn, officially part of Copenhagen city center. Christianshavn is a much-desired area for Copenhageners to live in. And it is easy to see why. It is central, full of bars and restaurants and has a unique maritime atmosphere.
Dragør was founded in the 12th century, and it grew quickly as a fishing port. During the medieval period it was an international marketplace for Hanseatic merchants who came each year to buy herring. In the early sixteenth century, King Christian II invited a group of farmers from the Netherlands - at the time, a more agriculturally advanced nation than Denmark - to settle here to produce food for the royal household. You still find many Dutch names on the doors in Dragør. The town center is very idyllic with its characteristic yellow painted houses, thatched straw roofs and cobblestone streets, plus a charming harbor that is still an active fishing port.
Christiansborg Palace is located on the tiny island of Slotsholmen and houses Denmark's Parliament. It is the Prime Minister's residence and where the Queen of Denmark receives visiting royalty and heads of state in its royal reception rooms. In the Marble Hall, see the incredible, colorful tapestries displaying Danish and world history over the past 1,000 year.

You continue the excursion at the Cisternerne, an old water reservoir built in 1856-1859. The cisterns are located on Frederiksberg Hill, 31 meters above sea level, the highest point of the very flat Danish capital. The natural pressure, when the water was let out, allowed the water to travel all the way up into the new Copenhagen town houses contributing considerably to the improvement of the water supplied to locals.
In 1933 the cisterns stopped functioning as a water reservoir and for many decades these subterranean chambers were forgotten until 2013 when the building became a part of The Frederiksberg Museums. Akureyri - Lake Mývatn classic - Nature Baths- FD Tour
The tour starts by driving along the coast of Iceland’s longest fjord, Eyjafjordur, from where you will get an excellent view of Akureyri and its surrounding mountains. After crossing Víkurskard-pass, view the Fnjoskadalur valley, where clear geological remains from glacial and post glacial times can be seen. The first stop is by Godafoss falls - one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland; the water of the river Skjalfandafljot falls from a height of 12 m over a width of 30 m. In 1000 A.D., at the meeting of the Althing, the Icelanders voted to adopt Christianity. The wooden idols of the Norse mythology were thrown into the falls in a symbolic gesture that swept away the old religion. Thus the Godafoss literally means the "Waterfall of the Gods”. From there you will drive directly to the Lake Myvatn area, stopping by the unique craters at Skutustadir before having lunch. After lunch you will visit the Dimmuborgir lava labyrinth, a paradise of towering lava castles, natural arches and countless unexplored grottos.
Next is a visit to the Myvatn Nature Baths. The Nature Baths offer bathers a completely natural experience - a relaxing dip amidst clouds of steam and a luxurious swim in a pool of geothermal water drawn from depths of up to 2.500 meters. The baths contain a unique blend of minerals, silicates and geothermal micro-organisms. The warm, soothing waters are beneficial to skin and spirit alike, creating a sense of wellbeing and creating a lasting memory of your visit. Facilities include a reception area and cafeteria, changing rooms and showers for up to 120 guests, three natural steam baths accommodating up to 50 bathers at a time, and a 5000m2 outdoor geothermal bathing pool maintained at a constant temperature of 38-40ºC.
Due to its chemical composition, undesired bacteria and vegetation do not thrive in the lagoon making chlorine or any other disinfectant redundant. Following a relaxing bathe, you will then continue to the gurgling purple and yellow sulphur cauldrons at the high temperature thermal field of Namaskard, which are so hot that they actually boil. Following a short walk at Namaskard, enjoy a relaxed return drive to Akureyri.

Reykjavik Blue Lagoon experience with transfers – 4 Hours
In the southwest corner of Iceland is the Reykjanes peninsula, less than 1-hour drive from the capital or 20-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport.
There the Mid-Atlantic Ridge comes ashore. The nature is magnificent. Various volcanic formations are found on Reykjanes Peninsula, such as mountains and hills chiefly made of volcanic tuff, large and small lava flows plus different types of volcanoes and volcanic edifices. The Reykjanes peninsula volcanic zone is a direct continuance of the North Atlantic Ridge that surfaces from the ocean at Reykjanes, and it is home to many important geological formations, some of which are utterly unique, including numerous types of volcanoes, naturally carved pools, craters, and geothermal pools.
Few things are cozier than relaxing in a hot pool in the middle of nature. Iceland has an abundance of easily accessible natural pools, but it is perhaps the Blue Lagoon the most spectacular of them all.
The Blue Lagoon was founded in 1992. Its specialty is the geothermal sea, which is two thirds of salt water and one third of fresh water. It is found at a depth of up to 2000 meters and is led by a pipe from the source to the lagoon where guests can enjoy it and relax. It is rich in minerals, silica, and algae, which is the basis of all skin products in the Blue Lagoon.
National Geographic has chosen the Blue Lagoon as one of the 25 wonders of the world. The Blue Lagoon has developed into an experience company based on spas, research and development, skin care, hotels, and restaurants

In the southwest corner of Iceland is the Reykjanes peninsula, less than 1-hour drive from the capital or 20-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport.
Explore the Reykjanes peninsula and visit the Blue Lagoon. This geothermal area includes solfataras, fumaroles, mud pots and hot springs and sulphur was mined there early in the 18th century and then again in the 19th century. Gunnuhver is the largest mud geyser in Iceland, about 20 metres wide. Reykjavik Golden Circle Classic – 8 Hours
Iceland’s main attraction is the Golden Circle, it combines most of what Iceland has to offer, beautiful landscape, powerful geysers and the most magnificent waterfall. The highlights of the tour are Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir area and the Gullfoss waterfall.
This tour is designed to let you explore the highlights of Golden Circle route. We will show you sights that are not marked on a map, and only the locals know about. We will start the tour by heading to Þingvellir, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Thingvellir, 50 km (31 miles) to the east of Reykjavík, is the national shrine of Iceland and its most historic site, and one of its most beautiful places. The oldest existing parliament in the world first met here in AD930. It has always been the focal point for the country, and whenever a major event is to be celebrated, thousands of people come here.
We continue the Golden Circle by heading to the famous Geysir geothermal area which is home to The Great Geysir and its active sidekick Strokkur! Although the original Geysir is not predictably active, its neighbour, Strokkur, will erupt every 5-7 minutes - so have your camera ready.
We then drive a few minutes down the road to the most famous part of the Golden Circle: Gullfoss, or “Golden Falls “. To stand at Gullfoss and bask in the beauty and the wonder of nature is an uplifting experience. One certainly feels energized after this tour and contact with stunning nature.

Reykjavik South Shore Adventure – 10 Hours
We take you along the south coast of Iceland, one of the country’s most scenic regions, as far as Vík, a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs.
Among the stops on this tour are at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, the Reynisfjara black sand beach, Dyrhólaey and Vik..
Driving through Vatnajökull National Park, established in 2008 covers 14,1% of Iceland and ranks as Europe's second largest. The unique qualities of Vatnajökull National Park are primarily its great variety of landscape features, created by the combined forces of rivers, glacial ice, and volcanic and geothermal activity. Vatnajökull is Europe's largest glacier.
The south side of Vatnajökull is characterized by many high, majestic mountain ridges, with outlet glaciers descending between them onto the lowlands. Sheltered by the high ice, the vegetated oasis of Skaftafell overlooks the black sands deposited to its west by the river Skeiðará.
Dyrhólaey is a 120-metre high promontory, not far from Vík. The place got its name from the massive arch that the sea has eroded from the headland. (The name literally means "door-hole"). There are also amazing rock formations all along the Birdlife here is abundant, with puffins and eider ducks being the most common species in the area. The lighthouse on the top of the cliff stands impressive and stoic in this often very windy area.

Reykjavik Walking tour – 3,5 hours
Reykjavík is a city of bold contrasts. The capital of Iceland is small but cosmopolitan and small-town; vibrant and sophisticated; young-at-heart and yet full of history. In this tour you will walk around the city and discover the main sights.
Together with your local guide, you will pass by the Hallgímskirkja church, the highest and probably most iconic building in town, as well as the Dome Church, which is Reykjavik’s Lutheran Cathedral and the bishop’s place in Iceland. The Dome Church is located downtown, next to the Alþingi, house of parliament.
You will see other emblematic sites like the “Sun Voyager” sculpture created by Icelandic sculptor Jon Gunnar Arnason. This gleaming steel sculpture is located on Reykjavik’s splendid waterfront and resembles a Viking long-ship, the ‘Solfar’ or ‘Sun Voyager.’ You will also see the modern building Harpa, a cultural and social centre in the heart of the city, and the Old Harbour.
