A tourist visa is required for U.S. holders for entry intoChinaand must be obtained prior to departure by applying directly to a Chinese consulate or through a visa processing service. Travellers who have a valid 10-year multi-entry China visa on an expired passport and whose personal information has not changed must carry both the expired and new passports with them when travelling. All travellers are required to complete and submit a Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before arriving in Malaysia. You will need to provide your passport details and arrival and departure information when registering. The digital card must be filled out no earlier than three days before your arrival in Malaysia. You can complete your MDAC atMalaysia Digital Arrival Card- MDAC. After you submit your application, you will receive a PIN to the email you provided in your application to use along with your passport number and nationality to access your MDAC file through the Check Registration section on the MDAC website. Upon entering Malaysia, first-time visitors should proceed to an immigration desk to present their passport. Immigration officials will place an entry stamp, known as a social visit pass (visa), in your passport authorizing a stay of up to 90 days. Be sure immigration officials stamp your passport with the correct entry and exit dates. For subsequent visits (next trip onwards), U.S. citizens arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminals 1 or 2 are eligible to use the immigration autogates to enter and depart Malaysia and are not required to clear immigration at the manual counters. Guests flying to Sabah, Sarawak or Labuan (Malaysian Borneo) will need to clear immigration and customs a second time and provide proof of onward travel (airline ticket) to authorities.

All travellers are required to register within 72 hours (3 days) prior to arriving in the Philippines on the e-Travel website athttps://etravel.gov.ph/. Before closing or exiting the e-Travel website, take a screenshot or download your QR code to present to airline personnel and immigration officials.
Check with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc.gov/travel) or the World Health Organization (who.int/en) for the latest on required/recommended vaccines for your destination. You'll want to visit your doctor or local travel clinic a couple of months before departure to allow time for any vaccinations to take effect or to fill any prescriptions.
You will be travelling to areas of malaria transmission. We strongly advise that you speak with your doctor or travel clinic regarding your itinerary, individual risk assessment and options for mosquito bite prevention, and antimalarial drugs. We recommend filling any prescriptions before you depart.
A yellow fever vaccination, administered at least 10 days prior to your arrival, is only required for this destination if you are arriving from, or have transited through, a yellow fever-endemic area in South America or Africa. The CDC and WHO each provide a current list of all affected countries. Please be sure to carry the International Certificate of Vaccination provided by your physician, as you may be denied entry without it. If your physician advises against receiving the vaccination, they can provide you with the necessary documentation.
